Suns lay down to Warriors tonight and here's why...

I ain't drunk b/c I ain't been drinking and I ain't high cause I don't smoke weed but here's my lil theory:

Phx locked into #1 and will play #8 most likely Clips and then Phx if they win will play winner of 4/5 seeds. Meanwhile Grizz are locked into #2 and will play #7 seed most likely Wolves and then that winner plays winner of 3/6 seeds. Soooo, Phx can help determine who is 3,4,5 or 6 essentially tonight. If they lay down to Ws then that goes a long way to allowing Ws to lock up #3 seed and puts them away from them so Ws would battle it out w/ Denver in the 3/6. Meanwhile that puts Mavs as possible #4 and Jazz as possible #5 which would be great as they would battle it out as they've done all season and then Phx would get the winner off most likely a 7 game series half at altitude. Meanwhile Warriors are in another bracket battling it out at altitde w/ Nuggs in a long series then vs Grizz in another long series.

If Phx beats Ws tonight it may put Ws down to 4 seed or 5 seed as Mavs own tiebreaker against Ws and then into their own bracket. Would they much prefer to play Mavs or Jazz in 2nd round while Warriors wreak havoc in other bracket? I think so and so does my money.

Suns lay down to noone....30-6 road record is faking impressive....Their road record is better than the best home record of any NBA team...Dubs will put up a fight and can definitely win this game...But like ground hog day...Dubs will get up on the Suns and lead for most of the game up 4-6 end of 3rd then the Suns go on their magical 4th quarter outburst like usual... and win the game....that is their M.O...GL with your play..

When is the regular season over? Still seems like a couple weeks away. I think Suns want to show who is #1 in the West GL

Also another factor/angle is the Dubs lead the season series 2-1.....Do the Suns really want to go 1-3 on the season vs the Dubs. So there is a little motivation from the Suns side...

THIS....is correct. Like the Suns care AT ALL about how the other 7 teams in the Western conference playoffs will be seeded. Doesn't matter to them if they'll get to sweep the Warriors in the 2nd round or 3rd round. I think the sagging Warriors will get knocked out before the Suns get a chance to bury them.

Warriors wreaking havoc? How are they gonna be wreaking havoc in the playoffs when they stink?? Even with Curry back, this poorly-coached team won't be making any noise.

Doesn’t really make any sense to me and there’s still so many variables that could happen even if Phoenix lose to GS tonight which differs from what you’re saying.  This is stretching it too much this time SW.

That stat you posted two days ago is even better than you said. The sputtering Warriors are on an 0-14 ATS slide when facing an opponent whom they beat SU & ATS in their previous meeting from this season. The latest occurrence happened on Sunday when the worn out Dubs lost to the Wizards after they'd won and covered against the Wizards two weeks earlier. Tonight's game in San Francisco is the first meeting between the Suns and crumbling Warriors since the Christmas Day game in Phoenix won by the Warriors. That loss on Christmas Day marked the only time this season that the Suns failed to avenge a loss from earlier this season, as they also lost to Golden State on December 3rd. Otherwise, the Suns are 6-0 SU & ATS against any team that defeated them in their previous meeting, winning those six games by an average of 16 points.

With those two stats colliding tonight, this does not look promising for the home team, especially against a 61-14 Suns juggernaut that is still looking for the respect they deserve from fans and nitwit media stooges.

The powerhouse Suns are 7-1 ATS over the course of their latest long winning streak. Even after the tremendous season the Suns have had, the oddsmakers are still undervaluing this tremendous basketball team. Why would anyone consider betting against the Suns? They are killers, and even having key rotation players missing for chunks of time doesn't slow them down. And we know they have double revenge against Golden State tonight. Do those 5 points really seem like more than enough?

I'll be shocked if the Suns don't play hard tonight, and if the Suns DO play hard tonight, the Warriors will have to shoot at least 50% from beyond the arc just to have a chance.

The Suns are coming off two days rest while the sputtering Warriors had just one day of rest after returning home from a 5-games-in-7-nights road trip that was guaranteed to leave them panting, and it did. Klay Thompson and Draymond Green should be ready because Kerr sat them on Monday night while conceding yet another regular season game, but still...

You ain't kiddin'! Fourteen times this season the Suns have outscored their opponents in the 4th quarter by 12 points or more. In fact they did it twice last week, turning an 88-83 deficit against the trash-talking T-Wolves into a 125-116 win, and then the next night in Denver they turned a 106-104 deficit at the end of the 3rd quarter into a 140-130 win.

I apologize for using the word "tremendous" twice in the same sentence. I did not mean to do that. It's just difficult for me to not get overly excited when discussing this Phoenix Suns team that will be winning us stacks of cash in April, May, and June.

The Suns went 13-1 in those fourteen games. Wait, who did they lose to? Well, that would be the Grizzlies, a visitor who back on December 27th carried an 89-75 lead into the 4th quarter in Phoenix and hung on to win 114-113 on a Ja Morant hoop with 1.5 seconds left. Incidentally, THAT rematch is just two days away!
