Thought I would share some trends (using SDQL) for those that want to know what has happened in the past on Xmas Day. All these trends date back to 1995.
***Home dogs are 10-12 ATS and 6-16 S/U
***Home Favs are 32-24-2 ATS and 41-17 S/U
***Under is 45-32-4
***Under is 35-24-2 when the total is 209 or lower
***Under is 15-7 when both teams have a better than 600% win percentage
***Home favs are 12-5 ATS if they lost their last game before playing on Xmas Day
***Home favs are 13-7-1 ATS if they played their last game on the road before playing at home on Xmas day
***Under is 20-8-1 if the home team is coming off a home win the previous game.
***Over is 10-3 if both teams are coming off "over" games.
***Home teams are 14-8-1 ATS and 16-7 S/U if they are coming off 2 or more days rest.
***Dogs (both home or road) of 6.5 or more points are 11-12-1 ATS and 5-19 S/U
Take it for what you thinks its worth, some don't like trends and others do.

A great road win vs the Lakers followed by a narrow win (on B2B) against the Suns. Now they get a Xmas day game which Denver hasn't had (going back to 1995). Crazy that they haven't held a Xmas day game at all in the past 25 seasons. Just in comparison, Lakers have had 16 games in the same time span. The Pelicans played pretty much their best game the other night vs the Blazers but the Blazers are not a well structured team this season. Malone just signed a massive contract extension, Jokic is ballin and I don't see how the Pelicans can keep this within single digits tonight.
