Everyone is ripping Grant Williams for getting into Butler’s face and igniting him but I applaud the man, it’s about time somebody showed some damn “Fight” on this Boston team because it sure as hell, isn’t Brown or Tatum who jog up and down the court with horrendous body language and zero winning spirit.
I lost my ass on this game but thinking ahead the only question one just ask is whether this Boston team is mentally tough enough to fight back and believe that they can win 2 games in Miami? If not, they will get blown out in game 3 and their season will end in a sweep, effectively ending the Tatum/Brown duo. Brown will be gone.
Spo’s zone defense flustered the Celtics in the 2H and they simply had no answers, none, zero. One bad shot after another. Ironically It was Grant Williams and Rob Williams who actually fought back. Not their 2 stars.

Well it's an interesting situation, how often does a large favorite in a series lose the first two games at home? The Heat are a good team, but if the Celtics do what is expected of them they can easily still have a chance to win the Series.

Really? what tree did you 3 DUDES fall off ....BOSTON IS DONE STOP BETTING ON THEM CHUMPS
Boston is owned by Whitey Bulgers successor! If the line moves up then fade Boston like in games 1+2 and against Philly in game 5 at home. If the line moves down like Philly game 7 then bet Boston.

A good question, in fact a great question since mental is a large part of all sports endeavors---these guys didnt make it to the elite levels by having no heart...Heats bench has been huge, while Al Horford is like a dead man walking for Boston,,,Celts should get at least ONE in Miami, best chance would be the first one is my guess---and guess is all one can do.

Last time the C's went down 0-2 was to this same Heat team in the bubble lol.. the C's won game 3 "on the road" lol . Will history repeat?
Since 2015 playoffs, C's have won game 3 on the road 3 times. they're 4-1 in game 3's when down 0-2 but most of those were with a different Celtic roster. However something feels different. Heat seems to be on a mission
Sip on that plus money honey!

Spo and the HEAT know this. It’s exactly why it won’t happen again. I think they’re done.

There's a diff between fighting & doing something completely stupid. Butler was minding his business having himself an average gm until Williams woke up Himmy. They were done after that. Boston are done. Joe Mozzarella completely in way over his head vs Spo.

This Boston team ..as currently constructed..with these mental midgets..including the coach....won't win a God dam thing ever
Thank you. I agree. I don't think they're dead yet, but they're circling the toilet. I'll be glad to be rid of this team as currently constructed, but I don't see anything good coming out of rebuilding around Tatum. He's just not wired right. Funny thing is the Heat's game with the movement of the ball and movement of players without the ball is a demonstration of what Boston needs to do. But these guys will never get that and Mazzoula is hung up on data and encouraging more 3-pointers.
I'd rather keep Brown and see what Tatum and Smart bring in a trade. If they can deprogram Brown out of the hero-ball mindset and build around him, Brogdon and Rob Williams they might have something
I do believe I've had enough

I think the fact that they didn't react to the Grant Williams spark was very telling. GW was logging over 30 mpg through March, then fell off the map completely. There was an incident in which he missed crucial free throws that cost them a W but I don't see how that would account for him going to the end of the bench. I'm guessing he's rubbed Tatum the wrong way at some point and since Mazzula is Tatum's guy that did it for Grant. And that's why I think they refused to respond when GW started chirping when they needed something. Based on what I've seen of this group, it wouldn't surprise me

After lose game 1 backed Celtics full game point spread, I break my single bet unit in game 2 to back Celtics 1st quarter point spread, Celtics first half point spread, Celtics full-game point spread, and points total under 215. All these are flushed in toilet. Really devastating. I feel it is like coin flip bet now starting from game 3 in this series

Exactly. Grant owes his teammates and all Boston fans an apology.
