a few notes about posting a card then recapping and tailing plays.
Diligent bookkeeping is a must. If you aren't doing your own bookkeeping, your shittinng the bed, and you ought not be tailing.
I mostly stopped recapping because I figured if I'm bookkeeping for myself, it isn't my responsibility to book keep for folks that might be tailing.
We do our best in rating our plays according to a scale. I've posted mine...
2 small
3 small/medium
5 medium
8 medium husky
100+husky, hefty, big... whatever I might say.
today i did a pretty good job of posting ratings.
Long story short, recapping is remedial busy work to me. I wouldn't be posting plays wanting them to lose, but wholly expect to be about 56-60 percent, at my best.
If you want a recap, search our posts and do the math, don't gripe and ask me to spoon feed you. I'm not here to have an impressive record or tally a following.
Another thing, It's good practice doing bookkeeping and note taking. It keeps your mind wrapped around your winners and losers, which allows fluidity in your approach. Also, bookkeeping will reveal patterns, numbers will jump out, lines and totals coincide, and certain names will creep in too.
One more nice thing to doing math, besides it being a release to tally up winners, it helps your quick arithmetic calculations in your head, which is critical for live spread bets and totals. If you can figure out that 106+109=215 which is 1/2 point less than the total closed, you know you've got something.
And last things last. There's a reason some folks seem to be sticky in the sty, and some don't. pig, coach, et al, can assemble a mean team.
