Spurs Duncan, Parker, Kawhi Thats just off the top of my head, plenty others. The Warriors team with KD very well could have gone down against Leonard and the Spurs had Zaza not cheap shotted him in game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, which the Spurs were winning easily. Who did the almighty warriors beat those two title years that are worthy of mention. They barely got by the Rockets twice and they beat a dysfunctional cavs team (With cancer Kyrie) in the finals twice. The Garnet Celtics needed two 7 game series Just to get to the ECF (and the East was weak as crap) so I’m not impressed by them (and I was rooting for that team). The Heat got their butts handed to them by the same Kwai Leonard that is now on the Clippers. He was the best player in that series and won MVP even though LBJ was in his prime. Oh, and that same Heats team also lost to an old, decrepit Mavs team in 6, in another Finals appearance (or disappearance:).This Clipper team, without Leonard and George, almost pushed the mighty Warriors to 7 games last year! Stop reading the names on the back of jerseys and start watching the actual games.
Stop watching one half of a game and extraploting a hypothetical series result from it. Especially with that Warriors team that could get lackadaisical and sloppy for entire quarters and halfs at times. Even with a healthy Kawhi, the Spurs weren't beating that Warriors team in a series. As far as who they beat, the beat the teams in front of them. This is one of the weakest arguments ever made when trying to discount the achievements of a champion. You see this argument made in boxing discussions more than anything. And people have selective memories. "This team back in the day faced..." "This boxer back in the day fought..." With the exception of some of the Laker and Celtic teams that battled it out, I could point out flaws in ever team that every champion has faced on the way to the title going back 30-40 years.
