you were just asked where 27 year old curry ranked if 22 year old curry was the greatest offensive player ever..why did you not answer this rather simple question?

@melossinglet
There is no specific year that curry became the most skilled offensive player of all time. His entire body of work and sustained efficiency since college is why he's considered one of the greatest of all time. You thinking a ball dominant, poor shooting, stat accumulating guard is better than steph curry at the same age because his team is having success in the eastern conference is hilarious. Not surprising at all though considering your behavior. Trae Young is like a Derrick Rose or Russell Westbrook without the elite athleticism. I can't see how anyone could watch Game 7 and then todays game and think whatever it was that was on the court was a better player than a 48/44/93, 22 year old steph curry. Eeeesh.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!NO SPECIFIC YEAR!!!..NO SPECIFIC YEAR,PEOPLE!!!thats what this fuggin stooge is telling us....one year he won mvp,the next year he was voted mvp by EVERY SINGLE VOTER and was obviously dominating the league.and yet 5 years before that (when not a single person would even mention him in a conversation of top 50 mvp candidates) he was the "same player".
...cos,ya know...there is no "specific year" that he became that guy.he has just always been that guy...cannot make this sort of trash up ladies and gents..cannot make it up.
so,just to clarify...cos i sure as fuqq KNOW you aint dodging a question i just wrote out a million times..what you are saying is that curry was basically the same dominant player at 22 as he was later on at 27/28?????

oh and we will never know just how well curry himself would have done in a game 7 and in a WCF game because ummm.....oh,lemme see.....aaah......hmmmmmmmm,oh thats right,HE WASNT GOOD ENOUGH TO TAKE A TEAM THERE!!!

I don't know how you go from "entire body of work" to, "he was the same player at 22 as he was 27". That's some kind of logic there bud. The answer is simple that's why I keep repeating it. What separates Steph Curry from Russell Westbrook, Allen Iverson, Derrick Rose, Ja Morant, and now Trae Young is his efficiency. If you like inefficient stat accumulators, that's fine. I'm an efficiency guy. What Steph Curry was capable of doing at 22 is far better to me than just young athletic dudes accumulating stats while being poor shooters. Give me just some average dude who can dribble and distribute the ball with 22 year old steph curry over Trae Young and some average shooter any day. 22 year old steph would dominate Trae. Wouldn't really even be close, Trae definitely couldn't guard Steph and Steph would have trouble guarding Trae but since Trae shoots like Blake Griffin he'd end up getting worked.
You're a basketball amateur and there is no doubt this is the first time you've ever seen Trae play. He's just on a better team with shooters and defenders that can make up for his inefficiencies. Because he played the exact same way last year and the team sucked.

oh no no no no no...sorry but its not ME moving the goalposts here.its YOU.you have been calling TWENTY TWO YEAR OLD CURRY "the most skilled offensive player of all time" and thats your fallacious, shi.tty main argument as to why he was clearly better than trae at this age.it is THE OUTRIGHT LIE around which you have built your entire flimsy case...so now i am asking you if he improved or not ??(spoiler alert for anyone who is incredibly thick and/or doesnt pay attention to the sport of basketball whatsoever,he improved MASSIVELY after age 22)......did he improve (MASSIVELY) after the age of 22??and if so then how in the actual fucc is 22 year old steph the greatest ever when the 26/27 year old version of him was considerably better??
do you want me to embarrass the shi.t out of you AGAIN by showing his improvement in basically EVERY SINGLE STATISTICAL CATEGORY at age 27 as compared to age 22??is that what you really want??
no,just save us all the trouble and let us know if he was a faaaar better player as his career progressed??and once we are done with that we can put that particular element of your "argument" well and truly in the trash can where it belongs.
im a basketball "amateur"....oh boy i cant wait till i can elevate to being a basketball "pro" like you so that i too can repeat the phrases "48/44/93" and "most skilled offensive player" over and over again and impress all the people reading..
hahahaha...his teammates "make up for his inefficiencies"..haha.so is he a plus or a minus when he is on the court??why does he even get to play at all?and how the fucc do you think the hawks would have fared this season without young on the team?
his teammates are AVERAGE/SOLID nba players that nobody gave much of a shi.t about 2 months ago....until...you guessed it!!!trae helped to elevate them into the position they are at now....good grief, you are one simple-minded dope.

oh,and newsflash!!!grab onto something so you dont hurt yourself falling over in shock.....but at the age of 22 westbrook, iverson,ja(who isnt even 22 yet) were ALL BETTER for that one season than what curry was..and rose SURE AS FUQQ WAS!!!100% no doubt...he was league mvp...but i just cant wait to hear the basketball "pro" find justification for the notion that "48/44/93" steph was still better than a fuggin league mvp.
youre so dumb that you dont even realise that one of the primary, main features of currys story and his career is the HUUUUGE IMPROVEMENTS he made in all parts of his game once he got into the league...nobody saw this coming..NOBODY.if you say you did youre a fuccing liar....well i mean we know youre a liar regardless..but there were ZERO articles predicting utter dominance from him that were written back in 2009/10/11...he was nice and showed potential but he would go on to make a cosmic sized leap in ability, combined with what he was allowed to do and the team that surrounded him, coach etc....but you are such a simpleton you think that he was the same dude the whole way through...this is basic, basic stuff.its frightening how little you know about basketball when you arent even aware of this widely acknowledged, easy fact of currys career arc.

Maybe adding Capela, Bogdanovic, Galinari, Lou Williams and Collins/Huerter improving helped. You're just a fan of inefficient stat accumulators. That's fine. They're still good players, just won't be remembered like Steph since efficiency is what makes Steph better than any of these guys. Even 22 year old steph. Put 22 year old steph on this Hawks team with all their efficient shooters, my lord they'd be a beast in the weak east.

im not a "fan" of any player archetype..though smaller and midsize guys are more my style of player to choose to watch..nice work completely fabricating another assertion about a total stranger though....but more specifically no i am not a fan of trae young at all...i would much, much, much rather watch curry.all day every day and twice on sundays..he is one of the most compelling, entertaining sportsmen i have seen in my lifetime...trae??eh,take it or leave it..he does entertain as well but just not my cup of tea.
soooo,im not sure what point you are actually making here...his team obviously got way better this year, but his numbers were ALREADY better than 22 year old steph at the age of 21??okay well that pretty much settles it then..case closed!!it didnt even take young till the age of 22 to surpass 22 year old curry.he had already done it at the age of 21...and seeing as each of them were on trash teams at that point in time its pretty much a wash as far as that goes......so its settled then.good chat.

If you're a fan of the inefficient stat stuffers than Trae has always been better than Steph Curry. He did the same thing in college. I however am a skill and efficiency guy. What Steph Curry could do at 22 is way more impressive than what Trae does. We've seen ball dominant, inefficient stat stuffers before. Derrick Rose won an MVP at 22 being an inefficient stat stuffer. Being a poor defender and not even being a top 100 shooter is a deal breaker. You're not better than a 22 year old Steph. ZERO chance. I really hope Trae does figure out his shooting though, I like him.

why do you repeat the EXACT SAME 3 phrases over and over and over again for 20 pages??whilst lying, being wrong and ignoring anything written by anyone else.

I've answered all your questions, you just don't like the answers and keep repeating the same thing over and over again when you realize you're wrong. You have basic basketball knowledge and don't understand why Trae Young is just another guard in a long line of guards that can't shoot. I'm just not that impressed by guards that are inefficient shooters. It still takes skill to do what they do, just not as much skill as doing what Steph does. That's what made Steph a game changer and an all time great. This is just the first time you've seen Trae, I get it, I was so hyped to see him play in college and as a rookie but was left disappointed when he had game after game of building brick houses. What steph did at 22 is far more impressive to me than what Trae is doing. I've seen guys who can dribble and pass, it's not that impressive to me any more. Give me 22 year old steph on this Hawks team over Trae any day. Now that would be a sight to see with all their shooters.

i would agree with you at this point..i was simply repeating throwdemlies premise that he is "the most skilled offensive player ever"...he is quite dumb and all he can do is repeat that phrase over and over again..so it may be a technicality but nobody claimed he is the outright best ever or even top 10..he might be close to it by the time he is done though..top 10 that is.....but just being that size and not playing defense obviously puts you at a disadvantage when compared to the absolute all-time legends of the game.

i literally just asked you why you have repeated the same 3 or 4 phrases over and over again whilst ignoring everything anyone else says and you respond by......wait for it....IGNORING THE QUESTION AND REPEATING THE SAME 3 PHRASES ONCE MORE THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE FOR 20 PAGES.!!!....and then because you have the brainpower of a toddler you accuse me of doing the thing that only you have been doing..."i know you are ,you said you are but what am i??"
and no you havent answered hardly ANY questions so how could i possibly not like the answers?..you have not given any yet...okay just to emphasise how dumb you are,for about the TWENTIETH TIME now,can you answer this question please??
if 22 year old steph curry was the greatest offensively skilled player ever (which is EXACTLY what you called him to make it seem like he must be better than trae at same age) then where does 27 year old curry rank???........he obviously got WORSE according to you, right??
a fuccing mvp is worse than a skinny 17 point a game spot up shooter according to throw-dem-lies...
there you go,its in bold writing right there.plain english......i bet you any sum of money you name it will be ignored like every other question or point put to you.

why do you like those stats and data so much but then choose to completely ignore the numbers from each of the 22 year olds seasons side by side??because its quite clear from those that young is a better, more productive player.

The list of players to win 2 or more NBA MVP's is a very short list....only 14 players in NBA history. Then add on 4 time all NBA 1st team and 3 time campion...If Curry could win MVP next year...He will absolutely cement himself as a top 10 player.....NO Doubt...

You're just being childish now because your casual argument is getting destroyed. Of course I didn't say a 22 year old steph was better than a 27 year old steph. Weird attempt though.
