Folks, help me understand this. It's obvious by now the Mavs own the Wolves. Why is the line on game 4 not adjusting to it? opened -3, and now it's even down to -2. What is going on here? Isn't this brewing for a sweep? Mavs has just more powerful offense and Wolves just can't outscore these guys. What am I missing?

So vegas knows people will still bet on Wolves at this point because of the "Dallas can't sweep them" notion correct?
Prior to Game 3 of this series was the last time the majority of the public still had faith that the T-Wolves wouldn't go down like this. But then we watched them lose again, for the 6th time in their last 8 games, and I think the majority of the public is now mentally shoveling dirt onto the T-Wolves' proverbial coffin. They see them now as a beaten team.
Meanwhile the stock of the Luka/Kyrie Mavericks has never been higher. They've won 7 of their last 8 games, but let's not forget.....they did lose Game 4 at home to the Thunder. And they did lose Game 4 at home to the Clippers.

@MrBator Didn't Mavs lose game 1 vs clippers and also vs OKC? but then stopped that vs Wolves? maybe they don't lose game 4 this time to change that as well?
They sure did, and I think they were motivated at the outset of this series to not begin the 3rd round by falling behind again. But they lost both of their Game 4s when they held 2-1 series leads, and tonight there is even less urgency.
Hard to figure the T-Wolves these days. They were regarded as dominant and scary after they won and covered their first 6 playoff games, but then lost 3 games in a row for the first time this entire season. They repaired their reputation by beating the Nuggets by 45 points and then winning Game 7 on the road. But now they've let a lot of people down by again losing three times in a row with a majority of the public picking them to win each time. It's hard to still have confidence in them. I think they'll benefit tonight by no longer having the pressure on them of being expected to win. I think they can win this game, but if Doncic and Irving are gonna pour in another 66 points, oh well.

I’d guess we get my guy Foster on the whistle and in a close out potential game either Mavs suddenly forget how to score to extend series or Wolves go in vaca mode so under.
All Out

Wolfs are done! I would not trust them especially Clowns to have enough heart to win it they are happy they beat Denver, Ant says they ain’t even panicking they ain’t desperate, he talks a lot but they just don’t have that hunger to win. They content getting paid millions, how about the coach he sits behind his staff never gets up just sits there like a old nag complaining never even gets up out his chair, Jason kid what’s this sweep

Mavs -2 feels like a trap but this is a scary spot because many NBA teams also give up when they are down 0-3.
Pacers did the same thing down the stretch yesterday. They clearly didn't want to go back to Boston and get blown out so they wanted to start their vacation early. It's an unwritten rule in the NBA that once you go down 0-3 you let go of the rope.

That is not what happened. The Pacers wanted to win. They played hard all night, but in the final six minutes, the Celtics played jailhouse defense and the inexperienced Pacers couldn't escape the shackles. It was the same fate that befell them on Saturday night in another game in which they went all out for 48 minutes.
And it's laughable to say that the Pacers didn't want to go back to Boston for a Game 5.

What a silly thing to say. Is that what the Celtics did last year against the Heat?

Scott "the extender" Foster is indeed the crew chief. Wolves win tonight.

Ha that would be awesome if Wolves force a game 7. I definitely don't see that personally. Win tonight I do expect. But damn man if they force a game 7 then I couldn't even imagine how many people would tune in to see if history can be made. 154-0. Not once has anyone came back down 3-0.
