The Dallas Mavs are 1 win away from the NBA Finals. 48 minutes away. That’s enough motivation to blow the doors off the pathetic Wolves.
Who’s going to show up and play above their heads on the Wolves ? Towns ? Gobert? Conley? Edwards is 50/50 to have a big game.
Even if the Wolves have a 4 point lead with 3 minutes left. You trust them to out execute the Mavs ? They’re in a zone right now where it feels like Luka and Kyrie blind folded can out execute this terribly coached Wolves team.
They will beat themselves if the Mavs don’t beat them.

Mavs -2 feels like a trap but this is a scary spot because many NBA teams also give up when they are down 0-3. Pacers did the same thing down the stretch yesterday. They clearly didn't want to go back to Boston and get blown out so they wanted to start their vacation early. It's an unwritten rule in the NBA that once you go down 0-3 you let go of the rope.

Doncic and Irving famously each scored 33 points in the Game 3 triumph, which afterwards had some media types wondering if they were the best backcourt duo of all-time. Then Game 4 was played and Doncic (7-21) and Irving (6-18) each shot 33%. Sports is funny sometimes, isn't it?

"many NBA also give up" is not saying that Wolves were guaranteed to give up. That's why I said it's a scary spot.
The Pacers absolutely gave up because they were outmatched, especially without their best player so they mailed it in. They are not fighting a losing battle. This Wolves/Mavs series is different because both teams are at the same level even though it was 3-0.

The line seems right to me Minnesota is at home and should be favored.. told someone last night I think the line will be three or four for game four and it’s 4.5 now, It may Closen up a little bit, but if it stays that or even gets larger, then they are begging for a Dallas bet, Then you should bet it accordingly

(Sigh)......teams that "mail it in" aren't known for simutaneously covering the spread. The Pacers fell behind 14-6 when they scored to make it 14-8. They had the spread covered for the rest of the game. That is not a mail-in job by any means.
