It seems to me like everyone is on the mavs. Can we really trust these consensus sites that say everyone is taking the rockets? How accurate are these sites, and how do you know they are accruate?
How accurate is vegas insider? And where do they get their numbers from? Actual bets in vegas? Or just clowns on the website?

take it for what it is, but the line is finally starting to move toward the Rockets slowly but surely enough hence alot of the dough is going that way as well
might hedge a bit if Dallas is not up to snuff again. Cant ignore taking Rockets +200 ML or more if Dallas goes on one of those runs..
but despite that i think Dallas wins.
Sip on that plus money honey!

Love it..After every missed shot from Dirk in game 2 and the subsequent frustration he showed, I thought about pounding the Mavs more and more. They were in the game up until the 4th quarter and despite the talent disparity, they have what it takes to win this game at home. Veteran teams like this don't lay down in the playoffs down 0-2, especially at home. You're a great contributor to the forum BB. Love the analysis..makes me think more critically about different angles in games like this. Good luck tonight

Houston isn't THAT good. They're very vulnerable every game. they take horrible shots, low FG% and just overall terrible game flow. It looks like they'll get out of this series as Dallas might be too much in the hole after all the crap they went through. Houston like Portland and soon to be the ill fated Clippers will come back down to reality. If Dallas manages to find any sort of spark they had in the earlier parts in the season when they were the number 1 offense this will be a comfortable win for them tonight and anyone backing Dallas.
Crossing my fingers the pelicans don't rub off on them from last night.

Good write up BB....
One last point you forgot to mention.

Last I checked, Monty Williams isn't coaching the Mavs:)

Great write-up BB. Just to chime in (not necessarily disagreeing with what you're saying...and I haven't decided which side to pick):
Who plays the 1 for Mavs? Barrera seems to be overmatched by either Harden or Jet. Felton is too slow. Getting back Harris will help but he's confidence not the same since rondo joining the team.
How do you see Mavs defending the Smith-Howard pick and roll. I think them seeing how effective it was in game 2, gives them more confidence. And the adjustment for the Rockets will be have shooters flood the corners/perimeters
I get your point about Mavs being the same experienced team who gave Spurs a series last year...but that's also not necessarily good. All year they've played with Parsons and he's been a key to their "success"
I agree Mavs desperate to win and very much capable of winning...compared to 0-2 teams who lost yesterday. But I think to a certain extent, Rockets want to finish the series sooner to give them advantage vs Clippers or Spurs. I can see them, if they go up 3-0, they will take off the foot on the gas pedal in game 4.
Owners don't like each other...I think most owners, especially Houston's, enjoy seeing Cuban's pouty face in the stands. Would've been different if he didn't say anything before playoffs...but we all know that's too much to ask/expect from Cuban.
I can see Mavs coming out the gate strong, but talent and personnel might be not enough to overcome the other side.
When it comes to the line movement. Opened at -1.5 and been going between -1.5 to pick (and I thought I saw it as +1). But that also means, Vegas playing the number games, psychologically. It's pick -115 at my book.
I honestly couldn't decide but wants to pick Houston. I respect your capping abilities that it would've been an easier pick for me if you're on Rockets.
I might just play Dallas 1Q pk or stay away
Good luck, though.

Mavs it is BB tonight.. Mike and Mike the other day stated that the Mavs won just 52% of their games with Rondo, 67% before the got him. Celtics just 32% with him, 52% without him..

BB, i was with you on both games in LA, but really would like to hear ur lean for tonight? I am going with Clippers tonight despite them losing game 2 because of Duncans heavy minutes and Parkers injuries + that rage I saw in Pauls face was pretty motivating for this game, lets hear your opinion b4 game mate?
