Warriors in Elimination

Just like the other night, with the Celtics being on the road facing elimination, I predicted that the better team would cover. Similar situation here with a similar line. The Warriors have been notoriously terrible on the road all season. They have not been playing well in this series. Klay has been shooting very poorly and Wiggins appears to be banged up with a probably rib fracture (extremely painful). Questions circle around this team but the one thing that they have is experience and championship pedigree. These guys have been here before. 

I can't say the same for Austin Reeves, DeAngelo Russell, Rui Hachimura, and the rest of the Laker crew. Lebron will give a maximal effort, no doubt I really like the Warriors to push this to game 7 in this spot. They will show up and I anticipate that Klay Thompson will have a much better offensive performance. 60% of the public money appears to be on the Lakers and it looks like there is some late "sharp" money moving the line to Lakers -3.5 at some books in Vegas. I will take the defending champs on the road getting almost 4 points. Game should go down to the wire and be a good one. I believe the Warriors are something like 9-2 in elimination games with Curry.

1. The Celtics covering was due to opponent miscues & star players on sixers going invisible in the 4th & down the stretch. 

2. The above does not apply to the Lakers. The lakers role players will be ready & Lebron’s leadership + experience plays a pivotal role on why this will stand true. 

3. Warriors have shuffled line ups non-stop and have not figured out a solid game plan.

4. Jordan Poole has been horrendous this series & he’s mentally out of it. Another huge sticking point why Dubs are continuing to struggle and haven’t looked as prolific as previous years 

5. The only hope that remains with the Warriors is if AD is not 100%!

When is AD ever 100%. The dude is good every other game and every time he jumps or falls you’re worried he’s going to break into pieces. This is quite a convenient excuse if and when the Lakers fall short. 

lastly, Darvin Ham is going to get sorely outcoached in this game by Steve Kerr. Coaching will be a big key in this game.

FanDuel has the Lakers -3.5 -106, but man, if it's the likes of BetMGM and FanDuel offering that hook on the underdog in exchange for slightly higher juice, look out. That's probably a dead dog.

The Wiggins injury is serious. Shooting with a single rib fracture is unbearable, let alone if he has a segment (3 or more ribs), even if they are non-displaced fractures. This becomes even more challenging if someone like Lebron is banging on your chest. 

The trainer was talking about administering an ultrasound guided intercostal block + multimodal pain control. This can provide pretty substantial pain relief which can last for some time, enough to the point where he can play 20+ minutes without getting lidocaine/bupivicaine toxicity. It will really be interesting to see how much Wiggins plays and how effective he is when he is on the court.

Thanks.  I think it all comes down to that.  Someone has to pick up Klays slack and I thought it would be him.  Draymond not getting 20 again.  Not sure Steph can get it done by himself.

FWIW, Andrew Wiggins has a rib injury.  He's been their #1 defender on Lebron.   He's gonna take a shot and warmup and is questionable.   ML went from LAL- 130  to -170.

Although Im taking the Dubs as well.

Warriors made a good run to end the quarter.

live bet them +10.5 in the first when they were down 13. I like the value here considering the original line of 3.5. Curry will keep this game close, hopefully.

Lakers played excellent defense. Warriors did not show up and did not have an answer for LBJ or Reeves. Klay Thompson has to play better. Hats off to LA.
