Before I release a sharp report later, we have our first official selection today:
504BostonCeltics -9 -110 (1u)
Syndicate groups hit this at -8 immediately when the line was released last night which pushed it to 8.5 and 9 at some shops. We are now starting to see more sharp money hitting the window as this line will be at 9.5 and potentially 10 before tip-off as more money comes in throughout the day. The public are fairly split so far but we are seeing 65% of the overall money wagered coming in on the Celtics. Lock this in now in an attempt to beat the closing line while following some well respected Syndicate Action.

First - thanks for posting this info as it has proven to be useful for me. I appreciate it.
Second - any particular things you look for when discerning which bets you actually play? I noticed the sharp reports include a lot of bets that you pass on. I know every situation is different but are there any general things you look for?
Third - not that I really care, and nor should you, but if you don't start posting your record the trolls are going to come out in droves. Just a heads up. One bad night and they'll totally derail these threads.
Thanks again!

I will hit all your questions back later this afternoon. Busy for a few hours but I will get to them all... Anyway, we have another selection:
Selection #2
514 Utah Jazz -6 -110 (1u)
Some confirmed sharp syndicate action coming in on the Utah Jazz. The first wave came at -5, followed by an immediate second wave at 5.5. This line is now at 6, and pushing 6.5 at most books. I expect this to reach and hold at the key number of 7 so we will lock in the better number and agree with the sharps. Currently the public are a little harder on the Hornets who are receiving 58% of the overall public action but the overall $$ wagered is on 85% on the Utah Jazz. Lock it in.

Confirmed syndicate action coming in on the over here. This opened at 209, and was bet up to as high as 211... The line has since dropped back down which I fully expect to be a set up from what I am hearing from my buddies still working the lines... Trying to get the best of the number here and lock this in before the 2nd wave hits. Lock it in. The public don't understand why this line is set so high, seeing 68% of the action on the under, yet the overall $$ wagered is clearly with the sharps with 85% on the over.

No problem. I'm here to help us all make some extra $$. I have a personal vendetta against the books, if you will. I'm getting a kick out of this, plus I love sharing information and helping others wise up.
As far as what I look for when choosing my personal plays is a few things. I don't want to lock in the worst of the line when I can as value can easily have been sucked out. I still make lines myself as I used to as an assistant oddsmaker and use those to confirm what the money is doing and if I personally agree. I also like to confirm the strength of the money coming in behind the moves with my buddies on the line to ensure we aren't being set up either, with potential comeback. It's better to lay off where sharp money is sometimes and not just necessarily back it, as getting the worst of the number more times than not will result in a coin flip. I appreciate the advice too... I don't have any issues with bad mouthing etc. Choose to follow my advice, believe me or not.. I couldn't care less and will never reply or entertain those types of comments.

Heavy, heavy money coming in so far on the Hawks. Most of it public, with some small syndicate action behind it also.. The fact the action is small scares me, as it may be them helping dummy the line up forcing books to adjust for exposure, with a plan to come back on The Clippers. I do expect some comeback at a certain number... Will be interesting to see what happens here.

Obviously the official released plays I have given above are sharp action and will not be reposted here, so if you missed them please go back and review them.
503 Denver Nuggets o210
*Absolute syndicate attack here. The public do agree with 65% on the over, but we are seeing a huge 97% of the overall $$ wagered coming in on the over also. Books are extremely exposed here and continue to rise the line, and the money continues to come. I do believe any further movement will be a result of public money however, trying to chase the steam. Another point or so and there will be value on the under. I would not recommend playing this at the current number of 214. You never want to be the latest to the party. Losing proposition. At least if you were considering a play on the under, this can be enough to keep you off... for now. I will update if anything changes here.
507 Houston Rockets o206.5
*Syndicates groups alike have been taking small bites out of this. I don't believe it's a head fake or set up by any means.. Just a less confident pick. The money isn't too respected but still warrants a report here. If you like the over, there is still some potential value in my opinion. Public and sharps on the same side so far pushing this total up to 208.. It may go higher. Books forced to adjust due to exposure.
510 Atlanta Hawks u209
*Another position where sharps have hit this pretty hard. The public percentage is split 50/50 but we are seeing almost 80% of the overall $$ wagered on the under. This is confirmed by some buddies of mine as a true syndicate move, no head fake involved what so ever. Line may still rise due to money positions etc, but the only sharp side here, is clearly the under.
512 Minnesota Timberwolves +9
*Syndicate groups took the T'Wolves at +9, bringing this line down to 8.. This then allowed sharp groups interested in OKC to try and nudge the line down as it was within range.. Possible set up action on OKC -7 now.. I expect this line to rise, and expect sharp groups alike to be in disagreement and the final number will be an indication of overall money. There will probably be more back and forth action on this one, depending on number. Basically, there is no 'wrong-side' here depending on what number you can get.
515 Dallas Mavericks o214.5
*Sharps pushing the over here... This is now up 216. Not too much sharp or respected action but books are forced to adjust due to exposure... I am expecting to see some comeback on the under at some point depending where this number goes.

It seems when the overall $ is large on one side it loses.
I don't have any data behind this but it depends on the number of course.. Also large money is a vague term. It has to be a lot of the 'smart money' ... large public money doesn't mean a thing.

This is my last one comment on your link. I don't have time for this. This money are coming from the people
75% of the public on San Antonio (Confirmed by buddies working at 8 separate sports books) and 82% of the overall $$ wagered on San Antonio (Confirmed by the same buddies at these 8 sports books)... Line has dropped due to 2 separate syndicate groups. Where are you getting your information?

*Syndicates were hitting this one softly earlier in the day, and seemed like a possible set up so was not initially reported, however this has been confirmed as a huge move on them. The public believe this line is far too high, as we can see by the rare 50/50 split (this happens rarely when Cavs are playing a sub .500 non-play off team, especially at home)... However, this line has ballooned from an opening of 15.5 to now 18! The numbers definitely do not have the Cavs winning by this much, and oddsmakers actually inflated the line at 15.5 a little. This goes beyond the numbers and wise guys know something here. Whether or not if covers is yet to be seen, but looks like we are going to see one hell of a beating, and one that is fully expected by syndicate groups alike.
