Shouldn't FG line be trending over with TT lines trending over? I don't understand.
I know it looks strange, but that's typical in hockey.
In the StL / Chic game, I show both with a TT Over 2.5 -120, but the FG is 5.5 Under -150.
Couple ways of looking at it. The book doesn't necessarily expect both to exceed 2.5, but one probably will. They just don't know which one in what could be a close game. And again, in a close game, a 2-2 tie is very possible, in which case one team definitely gets to 3 and the other team definitely doesn't.
And another angle, when the TT is 2.5 with Over at -130, an equivalent line would be TT of 3 with the Under at least -120. So both TT at 3 and -120 would mean the FG Total of 5.5 should favor the Under.
Makes sense now, right?

after a little more research....there is value in the dallas-minn OVER FIRST Q...these are 2 of the highest first quarter scoring teams in the league and neither is known for their defense and both can score. over 54 seems very reasonable when they avg almost 59 pts a first quarter and dont play a lot of defense..and all 3 officials favor over games...

beware...im starting to fall in love with this dallas game......adding OVER 107 first half...this seems low too, and since the twolves are the highest scoring road team in the 1H....and dallas is the 6th highest 1H home scoring team in the league...i am playing both TT over for 1 H and if one hits, its a wash and they both might come in..

It must've hit right around when I posted it. I put the play in with around 10:07 left on the game clock, then wrote my message here. Looks like they scored again within a minute on the clock. Sorry.

Did very well in the hockey last night though got burned by Sharks late. Fortunately it was a PL rather than ML loss.
One play to start tonight....
TB TT Over 2.5 -150 MEDIUM. Line is a little pricey, but Lightning have won 3 straight and scored at least 3 goals in 5 straight games. Leafs are 26th in goals against average and giving up plenty of goals in recent games. They played last night and returning home after a 5 game trip. And Leafs goalie Reimer starting his 3rd game in 4 nights. Expecting Leafs to be tired, making normally weak D even worse.
GL
