He is okay.

Not someone that I would want to build my team around.

But he is a very very very good player.

Chris Paul is overrated ... As the PG he has to take in a lot of the responsibility for this. .. One of only two players in NBA history to be an 8 time all star and never be in a conference final (Wilkins)

He is over-rated. the fact that he almost won the MVP is a joke.

he isnt half the player they think he is without these BOGUS

Harden overrated lmfaooooo are u kidding me. Wow. People hate on Lebron and I never got that. And harden isn't in that category. But overrated should never be used in the same sentence

CP3 was playing on one leg...  He didn't even play the first two games.  So guessing you think Wilkins was overrated too.  I could care less about the Clippers, but I guess he has to take responsibility for the win and loss when he didn't play because he is an 8 time all star...  Guess Steve Nash has to take responsibility for the last few down years for the Lake Show too according to this logic.

The Nash reference make no sense are you high? Wilkins was not a PG. oh and they won a game without CP3. So with him in the lineup they went 2-3 ... He also had zero assists in game 6 fourth quarter

Folks that don't know b'ball I guess. The guy's phenomenal & you could see early today he was still feeling the effects from the bug. But for the most part, was effective & played within himself & helped the team in a number of ways. That's what the great 1's can do.

Congrats to the Rockets & all their backers!

Not me.  I think he is a top player in the league and maybe the best playmaker right now along with Lebron.

Not sure what the point of this thread is. Harden was 7/20 today. He takes poor shots and is only effective when he gets to the line, which is often. As his career goes on and his penetration skills deterioate he will be an highly overpaid liability as he free throws won't be there...only the bad shots.

Harden is the best shooter I've ever seen, next to Steph Curry.

I've never once called him over rated. I just don't like him for some reason

it's that stupid looking beard I guess.

I did and will continue to do so. He's a ball hog who relies on the refs. He never goes right and when he does, he stops for a jumper. He couldn't sniff the jockstrap of curry, durant, Westbrook, Davis, and yeah I hate saying it, lebron. The guy has never played a lick of defense in his life.  He's average at best in the 90s. 

Llana you think harden is the best shooter ever? Well I guess that's where I say this thread is truly comical. Yeah, better than Reggie, Ray, and steph? That's a good one.

CANT WAIT FOR THE MVP TO SHOW THE RUNNER UP WHO THE BOSS IS.

I guess you're right Ray Allen was better than harden. As well as Reggie. I'm just thinking about the current players in the league Harden is probably number 2.

That mofo never misses his free throws. I really always hate betting against the rockets.

Ray Allen and Curry are the best I've ever seen.

Then Reggie up there in the top 5 as well

But lately Harden is the best i've seen next to curry. He just never seems to miss. All those misses he supposedly gets I must not be watching the game when they happen. He makes like virtually 100% of the shots that I've witnessed. Sometimes I wonder if Harden is god. Truly the black jesus that's come down to save us.

You're kiddin, right? True he's only average defensively, but does it all on offense. You should look up his shooting %'s taking into acct both 2's & 3's. Also a much better passer now & leads the league in assists at his position, gets steals/boards, drives & finishes or gets fouled & hits close to 90% of his freebies. What more would anyone want? Curry's amazing & a better pure shooter, but doesn't do as much as Harden overall & couldn't carry the Warriors the way Harden has the Rockets time & time again all year. Harden's the true MVP imo with Curry very close behind...

Hey cashin look at the stats buddy. Curry leads him in EVERY offensive category except in ppg. You wanna know why he doesn't lead in that category, because he sat out almost 20% of the fourth quarters this year. Look at the stats and most importantly look at the head to head wins/losses with his team. It's not even close. The reason why people like harden is because he is this generations Tracy McGrady, no defense, lots of hype and mr. Me type player. The MVP in my eyes was Westbrook this year. His stats were out of this world and he was the only superstar that didn't have another one supporting him all year. He was a beast. Not the best of shooters but he would dominate both of these guys what to head because he play defense. Back to harden.....in this era, he's a superstar, in any other era, he gets stopped because he can't go right. They don't play defense in this era because it's all about points. He scores a lot no doubt but to compare him to curry.....that shows me there isn't much sense there cashin. Thanks for the effort here but ya came up short just like harden will in these conf. Finals.
