Why are the Houston Rockets home dogs tonight vs Orlando???

Can someone please explain this to me?  I'm extremely confused right now.  
 
I know the Magic are better than I give them credit for being, but still I don't see how their favoured on the road against the Rockets.

Houston hasn't been playing that well lately and Orlando has been beating people up.

Yes interesting line.   Yao Ming is the only center in the league that Howard has not played well against.    Last three meetings:
 
Yao (22p, 13r) Howard (13p, 9r)
Yao (26p,13r) Howard (16p,8r)
Yao (19p,17r) Howard (20p,11r)
 
Those are not terrible numbers, but clearly an advantage to Yao.  From a playoff perspective, the Rockets need this game badly.  Orlando is going to be 2 or 3 seed, but the West is anybody's guess with 5 games separating 2 - 8 spots.    Also get Landry back tonight.    Vegas may want the money going to the Rockets here with this spread, but they are the better team in this spot at home.

manifesto i did notice the same fact in the morninig, btw open line was -1 for houston so i cant see a value in them

Wow just noticed the line movement myself Mio...interesting move of 2pts when only 57% public on Orlando...either way I am taking Houston in this one....catching points at home is a rarity

I think it's could be based on Magic's recent play very hot on the road as of recent... Plus I believe Magic's Depth chart is just a little deeper... Think They got this game right 2night with the Pk em or +1... just my thougts...
 
Too close to call if you ask me... MAYBE the under but thats also set low so i wen tin another direction as you can see on my Blog....

The line has been going back and forth all day between Orlando -1 and Houston -1. I was ready to bet Houston figuring the line would be -2.5 or 3, but this line is just a weird one.

i don't believe alston has much bad blood w/ the rockets team, as he probably does with those who traded him, i read that he's still friends with mcgrady, yao..etc.

should be a good game nonetheless,
better than that ncaa finals. =)

Yeah I was 100% on the wrong side of that game yesterday.  I'll admit it was a terrible pick.  What's your point though?  I'm sure the people in the NBA forum can attest that I've given them many winners in the past few months.

The line is just right. Magic have won consecutive games and been covering. HOUSTON though will win this game.

give value a break. many were on msu ml and spread or under and we all lost big time. gorw up and  mov eon.
 
value has given many winners including teams we could never imagine winning straight up let alone coveirng a spread.n Like clip joint and kings few times.
