When i get down more than i feel comfortable losing, instead of chasing as it seems to rarely work out i do this.

#1 regroup and lower my bets back to say 1 or 2 units.  Piling on brings anxiety, bad judgement and potential for huge losses.

#2 Lay a 1 unit Parlay.  4 games max, but has the potential to recoup much of your losses without really increasing your debt. {what's another 100 when your down 2k?}

#3 Remind myself that the public does not win.  Against the grain is what makes the money.  Read the lines, see where the public would bet, and do the opposite.
