Tim,
Just finished your book. I read it in a day. Thank you for writing it. 2 question: 1) In the forward, former FBI agent Phil Scala writes, "...and making interested parties more aware of the importance of integrity." Obviously, he is referring to the NBA. Do you have any idea what type of pressure the FBI put on the league to at least make it seem less “manipulated?” 2) What are you doing now to earn a living? I’m rooting for you, Tim. I even hope one day you and your wife will reconcile. Again, thank you for the tremendous job with the book. I don’t think I’ve ever read an entire book in a day. I couldn’t put it down.

Have you ever knowingly made the wrong call to sway the game in your favor?
Absolutely not..... I just kissed my bet goodbye

I know this one is going in...
You said in the 60 minutes interview you usually nailed 80% of your bets without even affecting your decisions as a referee on a game, then we must assume you are a gambler and not a fixer... if that is true you must definately remember your worst bad beat and the game.... how was it and by what margin did you lose?
I have to confess to winning the other 20% by giving bad beats to everyone else, for a 100% wagering record...tops among fellow officials

"Why not take your medicine and cork it? Don't you feel like the crack head who tries to roll over on his dealer to try to displace blame?
No one in the NBA made him bet games. Simple case of guy in powerful position that couldn't handle it. If he worked at a bank, it would have been fishy loans. Give me a break!

I read the book "Personal Foul." Tim may have made some serious mistakes, but, when it comes to leaning toward the truth I think he has less of a problem than David Stern. At the very least Tim is not in denial. (i.e. see David Stern press conference in Las Vegas during 2007 All Star weekend; paraphrasing "there are no gambling issues in the NBA." He was well aware of an investigation going on at that time. Tim no doubt abused his power. But, get this. When I first attempted to buy the book at B&N when it was released there was a sign in the store stating due to fear of lawsuit by the NBA they were not going to carry the book. (They now carry the book, at least for online order) There's a power play for you courtesy of David the dictator.
After reading this book you will never watch an NBA game again in the same light. I have the NBA package on Direct TV and catch a lot of games. There are so many biases that are flat out blatant. Not so much favorable calls for superstars. We all know that's been going on forever. But, man, when these refs get it in for a certain player or coach they are relentless. Scott Skiles, that guy can't even breath wrong or they nail him. Be careful playing a Magic game ATS. Sometimes I think they call 2 fouls on Dwight Howard before he even leaves the locker room. To top it off, they can't even hide the smirks on their face.
Good luck to all and I look forward to seeing what Donaghey has to say.

I dont buy picks but I would consider Tim's in rare occasions.
Tim since you will no longer be officitaing you should capitalize on your insider info. - Free enterprise with a sweet website. It would blow up with Homers, curious and smart folks.
