I suppose we have different views of what constitutes "buying low" but my main gripe was with OP declaring anyone who disagreed with him an "idiot"

I should clarify,  though.  This philosophy is only one small angle...there are many,  many things one  can look at when Handicapping a game; I would never make a wager based solely on one small angle .

He's right. Nuggets aren't "the better team". They're equal as hell. Porter was the difference maker tonight and holiday getting in foul trouble early. McConnell messed the game flow up and was bothered by the length. He became a liability running the offense for pacers. I wouldn't call anyone an idiot for betting on a side. My only thing is, if we talking positive plays... I'd say a person would lose more in that spot taking Denver in the long run. 

Excuses...You pick your spots when betting the NBA...Like I said...Denver just got destroyed by Houston and Indy just destroyed  Philly...Line movement said it all...Now off the line didn't move...and stayed Nuggets +1.5..I would not have played this game..

So what I learned from this is when I see a thread title like this (YOU'RE AN IDIOT IF YOU BET THE NUGGETS TONIGHT) bet on the idiot side and win $$$$.

I can't recall ever in the history of Covers seeing a thread title like that and the OP actually winning his bet.....it just doesn't happen.

As if the Pacers starting 9/10 from the field including 4/4 from 3 had nothing to do with them jumping out to a 14 point lead.  Goes both ways. 

Betting based on line movement is a no no for me. I've won with line moving my way and won with it moving away from my bet. Line is the line.. it's the markets perception. The line moved in Denver favor simply because garry Harris was announced to play. Literally it moved up during that time. Funny thing is .. he wasn't the difference maker. It was a coin flip game that went denver way. Them getting blown out simply isn't a concern for me in the long run lol. We are not their psychologists, we are theives in the night looking for the loot.. good win my man.. but I was simply saying that Denver 9/10 is not a winner in that spot. They got bailed by foul trouble from holiday and an amazing performance from Porter 

Jokic was in foul trouble the entire 1st half leading to him playing only 24 minutes.  Indiana started 9/10 included 4/4 from 3, cooled off and the deeper team won.  Simple as that.

Jocic being in foul trouble did not matter. His impact was offset by Indiana defense. He's soft . Truthfully in this particular game . Plumlee gave an advantage because he's a better rim protector and cause more problems for McConnell trying to penetrate. I watched the whole game lol trust me Denver is not really that good as people believe them to be
