Was just wondering if there’s a stat/trend with teams winning by 40+ points @ home on a short week going on the road? ATS 
Winning isn’t everything.. It’s the Only thing.

wouldn’t be applicable to this game as SF didn’t win by 40 last week.

I’m with you BigNiner I think 49ers squeak this win out..
Cardinals played well @ New Orleans against a saints passrush/defense that’s playing pretty good.. up until the 3rd quarter when the coach made a HUGE mistake by making a terrible call on there own 30 which is ALWAYS a no go..even if it was 1 yard.. that swing smashed every little bit of confidence from the teaming went down hill from there...I have to say for being the Cardinals they kept the Saints in check up until that point especially against a high powered offense with Brees at QB..
I was actually a little impressed..
I definitely don’t see the cardinals winning straight up..not against this 49ers defense..but I do see them staying within the number..unless they make the same mistakes they made versus the Saints..there red zone offense needs to improve..field goals for touchdowns won’t win you anything unless you have a really good defense...they need to get the ball to Fitzgerald in the red zone..in my opinion

I'll watch the first possession of each team, it seems to tell a lot lately. Will the 49ers play like the Vikings did last week as a 16.5 pt favorite? They looked like they were in slow motion and were not interested in the least of scoring tds (1 against a doormat in their dome, 4 days after 42pts on the road, odd time for a slump)...

And Donkey, please, no such thing as easy money unless you get the information of how the refs will control the game (See GB / Det) or the flag that got thrown with 3 mins to go in a game that was decided but the Vikes were getting to close to covering the 16.5. After that penalty, there was another that made sure a cover wasn't going to happen. That's the only time it's easy Donkey, when you know this info prior to pushing the button.

No Jimmy G is not elite by any means or standards, but with the addition of Sanders and Cardinals lack of defending the Pass he should shine on Halloween...…..Then again it could be a Trick and not a Treat

No, he's making his way to the NFL record of all time receptions. Statistically can do it in this + 2 more seasons.

Not to take away anything from the Niners impressive start, but after 8 weeks of football the Saints are clearly the best team in the NFC and definitely still ahead of the Niners.  I haven't seen ANYTHING to convince me otherwise.

I lean OVER 43.

Niners offense can score putting up 51 last week against a sound defense. Climate controlled dome. Murray maybe good for two TDs in this one which gets us close. I think the number is reasonable.

I’m on the Niners as well seeing as they have played the underdog/disrespect card all year and now on Primetime to prove to the world they are for real. Except for the muddy fiasco last week they have been great against mediocre teams. I think Bosa is the key to a blowout or competitive game. I can see a couple of turnovers that makes this lopsided.

If the panthers, Seahawks and saints can blow out the cards, why can’t the 49ers?

They didn't really keep the saints in check. Lutz missed an easy fg, brees a rusty int, and the saints ran out of time as they just missed an easy td as the second quarter expired. Otherwise, they could've hung 50 on the cards. The saints completely dominated them.

You haven't been paying attention.

Two common opponents:

Bucs

49ers: 31-17 -- gave up 1 less TD in the win

Saints: 31-24

Rams

49ers: 20-7 -- held them to 1 TD and WON

Saints: 9-27 -- gave up 3 TD's to them and LOSS

49ers still getting ZERO respect from people that cannot change their opinion on them from previous seasons.

No, I HAVE been paying attention, to a Saints team that was close to going to the SB last week, and played GREAT (no losses) with Teddy B starting at QB.  I'm just looking at it differently than just common opponents.  

Who is not giving the Niners respect?  They are a 10 point ROAD FAVORITE in a divisional game.  Go look up how many times that occurs with anyone other than the Pats?  That line screams respect.  

Doesn't really matter and no sense arguing about it since it's basically just opinion anyway, not to mention they play in a few weeks so it can be settled on the field.  I am wrong many times and definitely not sleeping on the Niners, I just don't think they are better than the Saints.
