49ers best team?

Anyone like SF to win it all? Their only weakness seems to be at QB & Philly has already shown you can win with a backup. With the best Defense in the league and a deep powerful offense, anyone like their chance?

Nope. 3 best teams are in the AFC.

San fran has the best defense and run defense in the lot of teams in the playoffs, run game is solid as well. All around team.. Cinn 2nd. Philly., Minn, NYG, Dallas  are frauds. Tbay cant play on the road if they get past Dallas.. Buff and KC have good offense but no defense and cant stop the run. I would guess SFran vs Cinn in SB.

Jimmy G is borderline backup. Purdy probably isn’t much of a drop off in talent 

It’s laughable how everyone keeps saying the same thing every week about Brock purdy..waiting for him to look pedestrian but the truth that no one wants to admit is that in shanahans system he runs the offense even better than Jimmy G which is crazy to say..what makes things easy for him is all the receivers he has but the most important thing is that the San Francisco run game is just too good with McCaffrey and now that Elijah Mitchell is back it’s very hard to defend especially with Debo Samuel back in the mix and Aiyuk beginning to stand out along with Kittle not blocking as much anymore because he doesn’t have to considering Brock understands how to read defenses and can escape the pocket.. Juice is also the best FB in the league because he can do it all..

San Francisco’s weakness is the corner back position always has been..that is the guy in the armor and affect’s Hufangas play for the good and the bad.. San Francisco’s passrush is the key.. if they get pressure they make the secondary look good but if they don’t.. (CB) Lenoir is there problem bigtime.. especially when he’s covering #1 receivers.. he will make plays but will also get picked on a lot when exploited..

another key thing is paying attention to details..San Francisco 49ers had there injuries early in the season and are all healthy right now everyone.. on the other side Eagles we’re the healthiest team in the league throughout the entire season and now are dealing with key injuries into the playoffs which affects the way the machine was working.. 

For the record I have futures on San Francisco and the Eagles..

If the Giants somehow beat the Vikings which is very possible.. Eagles better watch out because the Giants are Healthy right now.. they have a lot of players coming back..that’s a huge problem considering they played back ups and came close to scarring the eagles in garbage time obviously.. but it will be a problem because this is a divisional game and the Giants starters will be in the whole game..

I really think San Francisco can honestly beat any NFC team right now.. there problem is going to be beating an AFC team.. which I will probably hedge if they make it..

I believe they will have trouble with Seattle but will win the game.. looking at Seattle in a divisional game with double digit points.. 

I have them to win it all risking $100 to win $700

I took some Niners +1000 a month ago after they beat up on the Dolphins.. thought that was still some good value despite the JimmyG injury who would've thought Niners continue where they left off with Purdy. +450 or less isn't as much value now but I don't see why not if youre interested in them winning it all. I've always love a team that plays good defense and can run the ball with a complimentary passing game. Of course no true rookie has ever led a team to a super bowl win so all it takes is one bad game and it's over. Can Niners sustain this momentum 9 straight wins is amazing and tough to do in this league. Will Niners let Jimmy g take over when they get to the conference finals. They got an interesting decision lying ahead which could make or break their season..

 Good thoughts . I also think Niners have an edge in the resiliency factor over a team like the Eagles. Niners been to the Super Bowl before, been to an NFC Championship, fell short on both. Still have majority of the same nucleus. 49ers have shown consistency to get back to this level. It's like the Elway and Manning Broncos that went thru some hard knocks before finally knocking through. Tons more examples like the Ravens heartbreaking loss to Patriots and coming back to beat them in the same place the following year to go to the Super Bowl.

 How do you know that there weakness is at qb ? I’ve seen hurts in the playoffs last year he was bad.. he was injured down the stretch and didn’t look good as the offense struggled mightily vs giants second stringers.. let’s see what purdy does.. it’s a very qb friendly offense and the bar has been set low .. they made the nfc championship game and Super Bowl with below average qb play .. purdy is better than jimmy g and have the horrendous hawks defense first game to feel really good about it 

But yea sf should fairly easily get out of nfc .. I don’t know if they will get the eagles in Philly .. I could see the eagles losing right after their bye . If not that will be the toughest test and they have the run game and defense to go into Philly and harm them 

afc whoever gets out will be a much tougher challenge .. bills and chiefs present biggest challenges . Bengals

look, 49ers had trouble with raiders, and a backup qb at that....a team KC destroyed the very next week...

The AFC has the 3 best teams in football....

I think the Giants are a real live dog to get to the Super Bowl.

Yes, I can see the Niners or Eagles winning, but the NFC has so much volatility. 

No rookie QB has ever won a Super Bowl…..

Can Niners come back if a team goes up early on them big? That is my only question with them. They’re a team who is a front runner.

Niners might not be the best team but in the best situation. Looking at the run defenses most of the good ones are out of the playoffs or on the AFC side. So that front running might continue for a game or two. Also the drop off from the 1(PHI) and 2(SF) seeds compared to the AFC is also noticeable. Everyone's focusing on Purdy, McCaffery might be the real reason they are clicking on offense.
