49ers vs Cardinals week 3

I'm thinking Cardinals laying 6.5 points is to much! They already won 2 games by over 7 points and now the betting public expects it a 3rd straight time! I don't care how the 49ers looked week 2, That means nothing. Niners were in a horrible spot, Typical of a west coast team after a late monday night game week 1 to fly to the east coast for and early morning let down on a short week. We know the 49ers have a better D then what we saw week 2, They showed us vs the Vikes. And who have the Cards beat this year anyways?...Saints and Bears... Gimme a break! So AZ showed they can beat up on cupcakes. This is a division game and I think the Niner D bounces back big in this spot and keeps it close. 49ers +6.5 looking to be the play.

They've performed at an Elite level at home and on the road, and I can't help but think what we saw from the 9ers last week is who they truly are as opposed to when the played a Vikings team that only handed it to Peterson 10 times.

Id strongly lean Cardinals, but will lay off for now as these divisional games can get messy. Its gotta be Cards or no play tho

btw, when i say do not bet against the cardinals, i mean DO NOT bet against the cardinals. they remind me a lot of the 16-0 pats who went 8-0 ATS or something in their 1st 8 games. as in, they will cover bad spots, cover with 90% of the public on them, cover at the expense of the sportsbook, etc.

If you take the Cards and they cover easily,To you I say congrats! I stand by my pick just like I did with the Skins last week.

I love the 9ers in this spot. I have found a simple angle that supports us backing the Forty Niners -

Teams coming off a loss, on game 2 or 3 of a road trip, and playing a conference game are 210-136 ATS in the past 10 years. This week that angle gives us San Francisco as dogs in Arizona.

My breakdown

Niners got burned by Pitt, I can see AZ and their trio of good receivers tearing them up.  Huge concern, especially since they won't get a heavy pass rush going - last week they didn't touch Big Ben, and Arizona hasn't allowed a sack yet in two games.

Niners were tough on first and second down last week, but just go blown up with the deep ball.  I expect that to somewhat even out, I still think their D is above average and will bounce back, but until I see otherwise, this is a bad matchup.

On offense, the right side of the line is a concern.  Not sure if AZ has a good pass rush, actually I don't think they do, but if they can pressure that side of the line on passing situations, that's bad news for SF.  Not converting on 3rd down while losing yardage on sacks will put even more pressure on the defense.  I love SF but I'm having a hard time betting on this one,  if anything I might lean toward the over, as I think SF can score on this defense to keep up.

Dont forget also they went from west coast, to east coast and are now back in west coast for another road game. This is a brutal schedule they have to open.

For the third straight year,  SF started the season with new starters at corner.  Week 1 they weren’t tested.  Week 2 they failed miserably vs a veteran QB who likes to throw the deep ball with lots of speed at WR.  Week 3, we have the same formula as week 2..


I like AZ to cover..

These injuries are with their back ups.  Their top 3 targets, Torrey Smith, Boldin, and Vernon Davis, are all healthy.  But the fact that those are their top 3 targets should be an area of concern all year..

Did you not watch the game against steelers . Smith and boldin both walk out gimping at end of game . I don't think they are healthy . But I'm sure they will play but not at 100 percent .

az knows how to put points up on them boards.  Sf may have a better total yards average but even if you have 1000 yards per game and can not score, it means fruitless. 

az may well be his year's playoff team.  49ers still playing rugby football

Carson Palmer and the Cards receivers are going to TORCH the 49'ers. If you think the Saints are a cupcake, you need to include the 49'ers as one as well....

Look if you like AZ, I suggest teasing it down. Teams laying a TD at home when teased down hit at something like 80%. I forget the exact number but its high! Im not calling an outright win for Niners, Im just say I believe anything over 4 is to much in this spot. Last Im going to say about it. Good luck whatever you side with.

Just a little off on that number of 80%. Teams laying a TD at home teased down 6 points hit at 74%. FYI. Again...Best of luck!

Good luck man!  I get the Niners side, and I'm a diehard niners fan so I know his team pretty well, and I wouldn't touch them in this spot.  They might play well but this doesn't seem like it will turn out pretty for SF.   Over or nothing for me
