Shanahan was dumb for not going for it on 4th down inside the 10 yard line in OT. 49ers had all the momentum, but they left the door open for KC and Mahomes 7 mins to go and 3 time outs in OT. He gave a masterclass in the end. Amazing was Patrick's brilliance in the end.
Shanahan played scared once again. We knew his past would come back to haunt him if it were to go to OT. Moody missed XP and botched punt return were back breakers. Special teams killed them. I thought SF played almost perfect enough to win the game which is usually not good enough against Mahomes... Give credit to Chiefs defense.. those 3rd down conversions played a part too 49ers punted the ball back one too many times couldn't capitalize... 3 yards of offense for most of the 3rd quarter was also their undoing
