Gold Rush- you're not hating, and i love the points you've made...nice outlook, and i would love to go TEN, mainly b/c PIT is such a huge public choice and looks too easy...but i would be very worried about no haynesworth and vandenbosch, those two are the best at their position in the AFC when healthy...last yr, in the 3 games with no haynesworth, i think TEN gave up an avg of 32 pts per....do you think their injuries won't be a big deal? i do think PIT is the better team right now, and obviously playing better football, but experienced NFL gamblers know the better team doesn't always win, and that "2 teams heading in different directions" crap can be thrown out the window in the NFL, because no one always covers, and no one always chokes
Thanks for the support Schmidty. I appreciate that!!
And I do think Injuries are a big deal of course but I want to add to my list # 6 reason why I like Tenn to cover 3.5 if u can buy up.
# 6 .Jeff Fisher is in my view the better coach. It was Bill who took Pitt to the Super Bowl, and he is gone, as great of a Job the new guy has done, I still - If I owned a Team,. would Pick Fisher over at this point..He will find a way to help alleviate the gap with Haynesworth out. But it seems that everyone is using that in their reasons why they like pitt, I find that dangerous as I have been burnt betting on the Injuries- Players Step up and play better when they have too, Besides he aint a QB or a RB
and like you said, no one always covers. We will see who the better team is this weekend, all discussion on that topic will be over. It does look too easy doesnt it!
Thx again for backin me up brotha!! GL on your plays

Van Den Bosch and Haynesworth are huuuuuuuge losses.
These two guys are the sole reason why the Titans D was where it was. Everyone on the D benefited because they only needed to rush 4 to get to the QB. Pressure and the ability to stuff the run made average players look even better. DB's were able to jump routes or press because they knew the QB was not going to have a lot of time to throw.
Now, with these two guys out, Big Ben will have all day to sit back there and pick them apart, if they need to. The Titans O, going against the #1 D in the league will not be able to keep up in scoring...
The Titans are going to field and average D this weekend and Big Ben does what he does best, because he will feel ZERO pressure...

i hate that haynesworth and vandenbosch are out but...i dont think this is a must game for pitt, not nearly as much as it is for tennessee. many of the current steelers were on the SB team from a few years ago. i dont think they feel that home field is a must to ensure playoff success whereas tennessee does. take a look at the pitt schedule as well...the last 6 weeks have been as hard as ive seen in a long time and at some point it catches up to you. next week is cleveland which is a gimme so they have the 2 locked up at worst
Valid point. However, the person that wasn't around during those years is the most important, Tomlin. I guarantee you he wants home field more than anything being he is a young coach.
