He is not washed. He can throw it as good as any QB and he is accurate and can accurately diagnose presnap. He threw for almost 4000 yards last year and had almost a 3:1 TD to INT ratio with an abysmal offensive line. Imagine if he had protection. His exact states were 3897 yards, 28 TD, 11 INT.
He threw for more yards than Stafford, Herbert, Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Jayden McDaniels.
He can still play. The Jets were trash but it wasn't Rodgers fault. The owner fires the coach 4 games into the season, their offensive line gets injured and can't protect, their defense was awful (CJ Mosley was injured, Sauce regressed, Reddick held out, and arguably their best pass rusher JJ tore his ACL early).
I think Rodgers with O'Connell behind a Vikings O-line with a Brian Flores defense is a good match. I also think he would be scary in Pitt with DK Metcalf and that Steelers defense.

@Ih8coldweather
I agree with everything that you said.
But a lot of the changes they made with the Jets was to please Rodgers. One of which was firing Saleh, and their defense plummeted.

Totally agree.. and that was the NYJ's mistake.... perhaps because they've been losers for so long, they were looking for someone to show them the way.
I think if MIN sets the tone early, they don't let Rodgers dictate the terms. To me, it's a no brainer for MIN to bring Rodgers in on a 1- year contract, and let JJ learn from one of the best.

According to The Minnesota Star Tribune:
"But the prospect of Rodgers coming to Minnesota seems dead for now."

It looks like MIN is sold on J.J. McCarthy, and Rodgers will be stuck behind an inferior OFF line.

Jesus, talk about a wishy-washy GM. What are you waiting on ??? You should know by now if JJ is your guy or not...
This just in today ;
EAGAN, Minn. -- Naming J.J. McCarthy the Minnesota Vikings' starting quarterback is "the outcome we want" and "the outcome we're headed towards," general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah said Wednesday in the first comments from an organizational decision-maker since the team embarked on a $300 million offseason shopping spree that included direct conversations with free agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Adofo-Mensah, however, refused multiple opportunities to rule out the possibility of revisiting discussions with Rodgers later this offseason if he is still available....

The only thing I can think of is Rodgers is asking for too much money right now, and if Rodgers doesn't end up going to PITT, then he may be willing to take less money at MINN and see it as his last good option....... Which means MINN is still quite interested, and the only thing separating them is $$$
