Im hanging it up for good. Why you kick a field goal when your down 10 points and your at the 19 yard line is beyond me. Score the TD then kick a FG. That was absolutely pathetic. That backdoor loss just made me sick to my stomach!

its not meaningless when you are down 2 scores. that comes down to the coaches decision.

I totally agree I had the Pats -7.5 for $100 it usually always happens that way in atleast one nfl game a week. RIGGED.

this is what you do, down two scores kick the field goal, then onside kick and try to get a few shots at a hailmary. It sucks for you, but it's the right strategy.

Start betting on underdogs, especially 7 points or greater.  You'll end up winning on these late meaningless scores instead of complaining about them.

TOPO, losing $100 is nothing to me its my reaction and most of the time the dog getting the points rarely hit compared to the elite teams that are favored.

Yeah it sucks. Worst from my perspective was NE not going for the touchdown. Brady taking that knee... What can you do? Sometimes it works for you sometimes it doesn't...

Whats easier?

To score a td from the 19 line with 31 seconds left on the clock and maybe take it to 15 seconds then onside, recover. Maybe a get a 15 yard slant route and then hit a 45-55 yard field goal.

Or 

Hit a FG at the 19 line with 31. Kick an onside kick, recover with 20 on the clock and go 45-55 yards for a TD. Its easier to score a TD, 19 yards out then 55 yards out.

You can kick a 55 yarder.

So much suspicion in that game its unreal.

Games over either way. It was just a kick in the balls i wasn't ready for.

Agreed. The HORRIBLE, NON-EXISTENT secondary of the Pats on that last drive, combined with the, AT THE VERY LEAST, questionable call to kick the field goal there, is highly highly suspicious. The casual fan, non-betting fan won't notice. But that garbage was sketchy dude.

There is a reason professional betters are often on the underdog sides of these large spreads.  It's not because they rarely cover.

I've teased the Pats everytime I've bet on them this year, and it has worked out very sucessfully because of SH!T games like this one.

NE -1 teased with IND +10.5 for 5 Units =

just started betting nfl games and i wouldnt have noticed any of these subtle "moments".

just kinda feeds the machine, i guess....

 from a winning the game standpoint going for a td is the right play.
you will cut it to a one possesion game more often going for field goal, but you will win the game less often as a 19 year old td is a lot easier to get than some hail mary bullshit

sidehatch- a higher % if making it a 1 score game does not give you a higher % of winning

to simplify it since it's clear you're not all that bright, would you rather be down by 7  points 100% of the time from your own 1 yard line and 10 seconds left, or down 2 from the other teams 2 yard line 50% of the time with 10 seconds left, and down 14 the other 50% of the time?
of course most of these coaches are risk averse pussies trying to keep their jobs who couldnt do third grade math.

its the same thing as scoring a td down 15 late in the game. most coaches will go for 1 to keep it a 1 score game, even thought going for 2 gives you the better chance to win the game as at least now you know you need 2 scores and can manage the game as such. if you go for 1 first, score a td and miss the 2 pt conversion the game is over.
