Not exactly the same scenario as Eagles/Jets, but some of the same principles are in place. Niners got eviscerated in back-to-back weeks and just lost a divisional game by 40. Packers putting on another show in front of a worldwide audience and will be the #1 or #2 team on every "power rankings" list tomorrow morning.
I'll wait this one out during the week and hope the masses drive up the line. I expect it to open up around 6.5, but anything 7+ would be acceptable.

line will be well above 7 IMO.
tough about this spot will be packers revenge factor. 49ers with Kaep have beat them three times in a row which includes twice in the playoffs.

I hate to say it, but this game worries me...as bad as SF looks, GB cant stop Kap...I have to look into a few things during the week, but SF and the points isnt as dumb as it sounds...

It's one of those hold your nose bets, but like you said, it's one you don't make until very late in the week. Can't imagine many people wanting to back the Niners.
Good luck. Even though you're a St. Joe's guy, and I disagreed with you last week, I enjoy your perspective.

The 49ers are 1-0 vs the NFC north division,1-0 @ home and 1-0 ATS @ home. Other then that I have nothing else to support the 49ers case of getting it done sunday. I will not be playing this game, Just my silly 2 cents. BOL!

You scrubs kill me. Just take gb and sit back and watch arod put on a clinic. Over think this all u want. Niners the sharp play... Lmfao! U guys need serious help. Losing a lot of money will do that to u i understand. But the only chance u have of covering this game is if kaep goes ham when theyre down big and arod is sippin on his grape drink cuz he was pulled early 3rd quarter. Yeah thatll be real "sharp" if niners cover

I wanna hear some actual x and o talk from you, not this stupid situational crap. The niners have faced 2 elite quarterbacks in back to back weeks and got absolutely housed. Their secondary is the worst in the nfl and it's not even close. I'm not saying it's a bad pick but I need some reasons to back them other than some situational crap. Especially considering they're going up vs the best qb to ever play, and because the Packers have revenge on their minds

Niners could come together at home and at least keep this thing interesting. I might even throw like half a unit on the Niners ML if it's like +1000 or something crazy.

You're never going to see a +1000 moneyline on any nfl team at home. Ever. It'll be +350-400 tops. This ain't college

I do get the angle. He's buying at the lowest point possible right now. However, as THEMUGG said, I think I'd need +14 or more to even consider taking them. Kaepernick reads defenses at a college level and their D has been getting torched.

You won't like this, and I understand why, but I'm just not that interested in X's and O's when it comes to NFL wagering.
You know those tip sheets they give out at Vegas sportsbooks? They're filled with stats to "help"you make a decision. Problem is, the books are never going to give away anything to help the player win. They give you those stats because, well, they're pretty much meaningless. ANYONE in the world can access those stats. ANYONE from Augusta, Maine to Kathmandu, Nepal can tell you that the Niners have been a train wreck. You know when I quoted stats and thought they meant something? When I was a child.
I cap the NFL by (at least trying) to stay one step ahead of public perception. It's how I was taught, and quite frankly, I don't believe there is any other way to be successful long-term at this hobby.
Yes, the Niners are bad. Yes, the Packers are good. And yes, I know this isn't how many of you think capping should be done.
But I've done well with this hobby by anticipating the future rather than reacting to the past, even if that often means making a wager that the masses view with antipathy.
I'll take the best number I can get and go from there. If it loses, so be it. This is a hobby, not a job.
Good luck.
