How about this as a psychological angle on the the game...Oakland Raiders will play much better now that the players on this team have been freed from AB's toxic presence?

Golly, jesus. No wonder fangio was not given a head coaching job all these years. He has as much enthusiasm and passion on the sideline as my grandfather's corpse. And he makes decisions about that quickly as well. How could Elway hire this guy as a head coach?
There are very few things Elway has done over all that have worked out well. Just my opinion

This is why I focus more capping X's and O's and not so much on capping angles/psychology. With that said, you could've capped this game by X's and O's and still arrived at this same conclusion. That's the NFL for you. Your capping can be sound but on any given Sunday...Monday...Thursday, ect.... Well, you know the rest. I know that you know this all too well, BB, and have already moved on to the next. BOL.

That was certainly the other angle and the much more psychologically powerful one, as it turned out. It was an angle I have used often, and even coined a term for it: "the jilted lover angle."
I used this angle ito cap the Heat when they played their first game without LBJ against the Wizards. I used it to cap the Spurs when they played the Raptors at home against Leonard. The same angle worked when the Cavs played the Lakers with LBJ, and on and on. A team that is dissed by a super star wants to come out and make statement either when they play that first game without their star and/or when they play against them.
The reason why I felt this situation might be different is 1) Football is much more of a team sport and 2) AB never played a down with the Raiders. But the effect was the same. The Raiders played last night's game with playoff intensity, and the Broncos never recovered after that first punch. So those who don't cap psychological angles, let this be a lesson. Unfortunately, we were on the wrong end of it.
Having said all that, and as bad as they played, and as unprepared as they were, the putrid Broncos had a chance in the 2nd half. If not for a dropped TD and abysmal red zone offense, they could have stolen that game. Even on that last possession, if they stop the Raiders on 3rd and 8, they get the ball back with a chance to tie! What that tells me is that the Raiders (despite Carr and that O-line playing the game of their lives) are not as good as they looked and the Broncos are better than they appeared. Would not be surprised to see KC put a beating on the Raiders this week and/or the Broncos beat the Bears
