I just hung up with them and if I fly down there they will NOT issue me any sort of check or give me cash. I am welcome to visit and the one guy joked that he'd even lend me his girlfriend. LOL Or go get some drinks and a massage or something. He said their cashiers checks come out of Canada and their wires out of Europe. They go thru great lengths to protect their transactions. He claimed Costa Rica doesn't want to be part of the money side of this in any way. Guess they want peace with the American gubermint. Anyway, I'll be fine getting those wires after they go thru 10 processors and then to my account. I have records of tons of losses if the IRS ever shows up at my door and finally no player "ever" has been prosecuted for gambling offshore or having an account. So people can say Illegal etc etc. But put Phil Michelson in Jail first I say, then I'll start paying attention.
I was just about to post don't fly down. I thought the same thing back in 2007 when I had nearly 60k. When I called Sportsbook.com and said I wanted to come get it, they said they don't issue checks from the casino, instead they use a clearing house in the UK.
