Hes lost the first game in the season in the past and has gone to win the Super Bowl for that year. Not saying that happen's this year. No Edelman and no Blount seems to cause issues last night.
also Brady over throwing a few times didn't help. if theres one team that can make adjustments and figure a way its bill and the pats.

Brady has done all he could ever want to do.. i guess he go for 6 rings and really surpass his idol... but i don't know just seems a little selfish at this point. time to enjoy the retired life and give other's a chance..
Sip on that plus money honey!

He was brooding on the sideline whenever they failed on offense, so I wouldn't doubt his motivation. I think he and the offense will be fine since the OL is so good. They'll probably adjust things by running the ball more to keep their defense fresher.

well watch the new england-new orleans line. ne has to go on the road vs brei es in a hostile dome. see what the line is. i tink new orleans will be favored.
brady usually doesn't brood he's usually steaming hot right? That's what I"m talking about. He might actually be thinking he played a year too long. Instead of acting out he might be thinking, which isn't a good sign

Saints coming off a Monday night game will have 1 less day of prep/rest, and the Pats coming off the Thursday game will have 2 extra days of prep/rest.
Just something to think about.
Good thread Budwiser. I noticed Brady's demeanor as well. It very well may be a sign of age just getting to him. No one knows what some one is thinking, but body language is a tell of some kind

had all offseason to think about how great he his, he spent time traveling overseas he never seemed like he was into it like last year
last year he was out to give the finger to the nfl. he was motivated
guys get old fellas. it hits you in any sport it just happens and just like that it's over.
at his press conference, on the bench, on the field, he looked more like joe flacco than tom brady. and joe flacco is just not an emotional guy
If you truly believe what you wrote then you know nothing about Tom Brady. Brady satisfied, lol NEVER!!!! He is adjusting to new WR's, it was their first regular season game, He/They will be just fine. Their defense needs a lot of work though. No pass rush and slow LB's. KC did a great job of exploiting them.
P.S He traveled the world last year also, does every year. It has nothing to do with his will to win or the work he puts in. No other QB has the will and fire that he has. He will eventually be finished but he is far from finished right now.

This might be the most insane post I've ever seen on covers. You think Brady is "selfish" for playing again this season? Are you kidding me? If Brady was "selfish", he would've passed the ball every time at the goal line the other night instead of giving the ball to Gillislee three times for three TDs. He doesn't care about stats, he doesn't care about the MVP, he doesn't care about what ESPN thinks, he cares about wins.
You all have to remember that this is a very different team from last year and it'll take some getting used to. Burkhead, Gillislee, Cooks, Allen and even Gronk somewhat are all new to him this year. Factor in that he doesn't have his security blanket in Edelman and it'll take some time.
There's no reason to make outrageous assumptions after week 1. We all say what happened when ESPN and everyone started doubting Brady the last time they lost to KC in the regular season. Everyone settle down, stop making outrageous assumptions that make you look stupid.
Brady will be fine, the Pats will be fine, and we'll see you in February!

Patriots will be favored by 3.5 next week at Saints and I will be on the boys of New Orleans in that one. Patriots will still be around later in the year but I think they start 0-2.
