Member of my household just tested positive (I'm hoping I don't have it, was only in their presence a few minutes today and am currently holed away in the spare bedroom in the attic), as did my friend and his girlfriend. I overheard a girl in the supermarket saying she had it a week ago. I had it twice already myself and was hoping to be done with it (already decided not getting any more boosters as I had two jabs which didn't stop me getting it so I don't see the point).
So I'm just wondering, since it's clearly not actually gone away, how is it that we aren't hearing of players being out for covid 19 protocols? Are they just all going to ignore it and let it spread throughout the whole team and staff?
From a wagering perspective we could be betting on teams that are fielding an entire squad of positive players and not know it.

The Vaccine is not intended to prevent one from getting the virus It is to lessen the effects and keep you out of the hospital if you do The Flu vaccine only has an efficacy rate of 60%

Damar Hamlin and Corey Linsley have heart damage due to your fucking 'protocols' - not to mention all the dozens of other guys who will over time have 'non-emergent heart issues'.

Lol.
Fuck straight off with you 'COVID protocols'.

Thankfully, I no longer live in the US at all. So where I live the virus and issues surrounding it (masks, vaccines, etc.) are not made into political issues - people just use common sense for the most part. It's completely bizarre how the US citizens have made it into a politically divisive thing, where taking precautions means you're a treehugging commie and not being bothered means you're some badass patriot hardass.
I can't even tell you how much of a relief it is not to care about 'blue or red' states. People who harp on about that sound incredibly stupid to the rest of the world. Even when I lived in the US I was never into that BS.

I'm aware of that, but I'm not sure I trust that it works how they say or that the potential risks are worth it because I don't think I got much reward from the jav. I had been vaxxed and the first time I got covid I was sick for an entire month, really knocked me on my ass. And the first jab I had a horrible reaction to also, never felt so sick in my life.
Then with the 2nd jab, no symptoms. And 2nd time I got covid, no symptoms. Totally different to the first experiences with both.
I think natural immunity is better for someone like me who is relatively young and healthy. It certainly didn't reduce my symptoms the first time. I didn't need to go to the hospital but I felt weak and could barely manage walking the dog. I started getting headaches and they persisted for a whole year. And tbh I have felt since then I don't have the same ability to run or exercise, I get out of breath and tired sooner than before. That could just be getting older tho.
I suppose you could also say if I got really sick even after being jabbed that if I didn't get the jab I'd be one of those unfortunate people who died from it. Who knows?
Anyway, the point is we don't hear about it in the NFL any more and if it's just a free for all we could be putting our cash on teams that have it playing teams that don't... And not every QB is gonna be able to do a Michael Jordan flu game job on it. Just something to think about. Like maybe that's why Desmond Ridder fumbled every time he got near the goal line today and even after it happened twice he still let the defender slap the ball out his hand at the 1

If that's the case now, and they knew that to be true early on when the first batch of vaccines were pumped out, why did they still openly misrepresent their claims that it would prevent people from getting COVID-19 while they were forcing people to either get the Vax or lose their jobs/careers?
Can't have it both ways.
Better still, what's up with Damar Hamlin still being -200 for this fraudulent "Comeback Player Of The Year" award when everyone should be holding a winning ticket with Tua @ + $?

I was in a frontline healthcare job so was in one of the first groups to be offered it in my area, and it was never purported to stop you getting the virus even at that stage. Dunno where you're getting that from

no, but I do have some common sense, which is severely lacking.
