This may be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Why do people think that the Seahawks are invincible? When the Seahawks lose, it will be because they were not the best team on the field that day. Quit with all of these weak excuses before the game even starts. If they were that good, they would have won enough games to have home-filed advantage. Hell, they were even given a game by the replacement refs and still couldn't land 1 home playoff game.
you don't watch too many playoff games do ya?? If you have you would clearly see the light. What does a replacement ref game have to do w/ now?? Absolutely nothing is the answer. It's all about the last 5-6 games and that's it. I bring up the travel factor because I truly believe it's the only way Seattle loses this game. They are the better team top to bottom, they are the more physical team top to bottom and they are are playing better than Atlanta hands down last 5 games hands down. They should win this game both at home and on a neutral field the question remains does the travel hurt them enough where they are up against it being fatigued.... No excuses just pointing out facts because this is a big factor in the game and imo the only one that has any bearing on the outcome

Atlanta is the worst #1 seed I can remember in recent history because they got through w/ a cupcake schedule. Let's see it...let's see something different than the 1 and done they are so throwing out there year after year.....bunch of soft playin over rated garbage.....paaaaleeeeese

Well if you don't understand a team coming together as a unit, as Seattle has throughout the season, and conversely see how Atlanta has done nothing but regress, then we can't help you any.
Atlanta has a nice niche of being a good regular season team. Let's face it, those kinds of teams exist in all major sports leagues. Atlanta has reached their potential and have accomplished all they will this year.
One stat I want to point out:
Number of wins against winning teams:
Falcons: 2 Seahawks: 7
0

Yes, teams do get better as a season goes on...But...Wilson is a rookie...He's a rookie...While Ryan was losing in the playoffs the last two years Wilson was at a frat party in Mad City. Or wherever he went to before he got to Wisconsin..

have you been watching Wilson play? Does he look anything like a rookie to you this year? Did he look like a rookie at Soldier a few weeks back down 7 w/ their backs against the wall having to go 95 yds against the Bears D on the road for the tie then doing the exact same thing in overtime going what...93 yds?? Rookie or not you can't compare these new rookies to rookies of 5-6..7 years ago w/ the pro style offenses they are running now in college these guys are NFL ready and it's only going to continue. The days of watching from the sideline are all but over

On a game where the public wins 60% to 40% that is money from vegas moron.. now i really believe that the avatar is a picture of yourself and a twin.
I booked bets for 25 years in two cities...I never lost! Vegas takes 10% of everything bet and unless they completely F up the line, (and they rarely do that) they don't care who wins..They never sweat out a game like you do...They take 10% of everything, then they take the losers money, and hand it to the winners..They don't gamble- They always win and the "public", (like youre not part of the public) just like the "non public" (whoever the F that is) wins and loses at about 50%...
Very few people make money consistantly..like maybe 01%....that 10% will always get you
ok wise guy?
I bet for entertainment- If you think your gonna do it for a living, or "beat Vegas" youre a fool

And you make it sound like only the Seahawks flaws will be exposed. Matt Ryan has never won a playoff game...I wonder how many of his flaws will be exposed on Saturday.

When looking at teams like Seattle and SF, the qb is not the focus as is with Green Bay, Atlanta, NE and Denver.
Add the fact that Wilson and Kap are dangerous in the open field. Can't really make that claim about the other four. SF and Seattle rely on their defense and running game to win. If the running game goes the passing game opens up, the field spreads and these two qbs can run. That said, being a rookie qb, (Kap 2nd year), doesn't really factor as they both don't have to have big games to win, the other four do for the most part.

Its probably gonna be a close game...I just can't bet the sea hawks going coast to coast twice in one week... While I have no problem betting Atlanta here.. A couple of ill timed fumbles and Seattle could win handily

BiggDoug, I have to agree that Atlanta has a great opportunity to cover ATS here. Their weapons on offense are too numerous for Seattle to cover. Last time I checked, a 6'4" CB still has to catch a 6' wide receiver (Julio Jones, Roddy White) that run 4.25 40's and that doesn't even include the best tight end (Career) in the NFL who is having a breakout year(Tony Gonzales). They can also manage the clock with Michael Turner, Who has quietly suxhed for over 1000 yds. I also agree that Matty "Ice" knows this is the year he needs to do this, there aren't going to be many (if any) more opportunities to get that ring. Last, but not least, Atlanta"s "D" is extremely fast and difficult to predict and they make positive plays and are on the + side of the takeaway/giveaway ledger. If Seattle doesn't get to Ryan, he will pick them apart. oh and by the way, he CAN throw the deep ball with tremendous accuracy. Prediction: Falcons 31 - 24 Seahawks. Should be a great game GL all!

Coast to coast is way overrated. NFL players are well conditioned and spending time in an airplane does not affect them whatsoever. People make it sound like they are travelling by horseback for weeks!
Show up a day early, get a goodnights rest and play football. I've done it several times and its never affected my energy or performance.
