good luck, man. i feel like this is a scene out of old school where frank the tank gets shot in the neck with the dart. "i like you, man, but you're crazy", just read your futures write up and just can't agree there. however i do like the bears season win total over 6. just a heads up, it is absolutely pouring out here today and isn't letting up. i don't even know if they'll let the game play because of the lightning. i hope so, because this has a chance to be a slopfest if it does! good luck this season and fill them bags!

I agree worm,the field usually sucks even with the best conditions,now with the new sod and the rain.It might look like Arlington Pk on a rainy afternoon,very sloppy.

I watched the Chicago starters in preseason and the offense were getting dominated at the line of scrimmage and couldn't move the ball. Fields was getting passes batted down. That one preseason game they came back after the 1st half and won with a bunch of takeaways.

Trey Lance is under a lot of pressure to be sure. Everyone is doubting him so much. But he has a much better roster in support. Fields has not done anything yet and with not being named a captain, and Jimmy G coming back I think a motivated Lance can outscore the Bears offense if he just avoids mistakes.

And with guys like Juzyzck and Kittle as safety valves make it a lot easier for a guy to settle in. The Bears have no big play capabilities compares to the 9ers and their defense is a jumble of rookies with 2 studs in Robert Quinn and Roquan Smith. They are installing a new defense.

Kyle Shanahan will have a lot of opportunities to catch out these young guys and see how good the new system on defense has been implemented by forcing them into matchups with Aiyuk and Deebo in space. Trey Lance can handle flipping the ball to the plethora of playmakers and see what they can do.

SF did almost lose to Chicago last year but I don't see things getting better in the 1st week for the Bears who are rebuilding a bad roster around a young QB vs SF who have a great roster trying to build around a young QB.

My thoughts in short&#x2026;&#xA;SF passed up Fields in the draft to take Lance&#x2026;plus better scheme for Fields&#x2026;O should keep up one would think?&#xA;Bold prediction&#x2026;NFC West starts week 0-4.
