Bears vs Thanksgiving Lions

Goff first season 2021 the Lions were 0-9-1 going into the thanksgiving game, and the Bears were 3-7.  Bears actually swept the Lions that season.

Now the last two Thanksgiving games vs Green Bay and Buffalo, both those teams were playing for the Divisions at the end of those seasons

The Bears most likely won't make the playoffs and certainly won't play for the Division this season

They were so deflated after that miracle tip TD vs the skins, and now off two more DIV games the should've won....this is a tough spot for Da Bears

you're totally reaching here IMO and the only legit angle you have is the Thanksgiving failures but there is an obvious difference in this year's team.

I'll have actual statistical angles in my own writeup but in short, none of those Lions teams had a defense like this one, none of them won in blowouts like this one, and also that 'bad game' you think they're due for? They had 2 of them already, the 5 pick game vs Houston where they still won, and the game vs the Bucs where Baker got the revenge on them.

Since 2004, favorites on Thanksgiving are 48-9 straight up and 38-19 against the spread.

Favorites of over 10 pts are 9-0 ATS on Thanksgiving since 2005 and 11-0 ATS in the Wild Card era (since 1990).

In the Wild Card era, favorites of 7 pts or more on Thanksgiving are 29-5 SU and 25-9 ATS.

I also heard some good stuff about betting percentages. The rate at which the public hits on Thanksgiving is very high.

In other words, don't try to be sharp on this day.

 How do they win??  They are going to stop that Lions offense all day? Lions defense ranks #1 in NFL on 3rd downs defensively. Lions defense hasn't allowed a TD in 2 straight games..
