I like Chicago, great town. Jake & Elwood, House of Blues, a little John Lee Hooker, Bill Murray. Was rooting hard for the Cubs to break the curse and fly the W 2 years ago.
good convo here. I think its a tough one to cap. I was thinking this line would be closer to 4/4.5 so its a little surprising the champs are getting 6+ against inexperience, so it does come off at a bears line.
Eagles secondary cast is sketchy right now, but the pass rush (and timmy jernigan return has really helped in last three games for the ends and cox to get after trubisky) is as good as its been all season. You would think Nagy will get the ball out of the young qbs hand early and use cohen in a lot of ways, but i think hell need to attack downfield every now and then and hit those plays to cover this line. I am not so sure that they can, but if so bears can win this.
The other side of the ball i think the eagles can win if they have productivity in the run game. Doesnt have to be 5+ a carry and 20+ times, but getting those early down yards and keeping chicago honest will help.
Not a big bet, but im taking champs with points.

After reading this whole thread, my opinion of Chicagoan fans has NOT changed. Whenever one of their sports' teams even gets a sniff at a championship, they sit or stand around belching and farting and bloviating about what their team is going to do to the other team on Sunday.
What I hear is my schwanz is bigger than your schwanz or my Dad can lick your Dad...da Bears, da Bears, da Bears...
In ancient Greek theater when a character suffered from this mindset, it was written that he suffered from 'hubris'.
To the Greeks, hubris referred to extreme pride, especially pride and ambition so great that they offend the gods and lead to one's downfall. Hubris was a character flaw often seen in the heroes of classical Greek tragedy, including Oedipus and Achilles. The familiar old saying "Pride goeth before a fall" is basically talking about hubris.
