Books gonna bet the vig on this game no matter what.....money is split on both sides.......GL DUDE
How do you know that money is evenly split on both sides? Do you have insider information or are you just regurgitating something that someone told you?
A football line does not mean that it will generate a 50/50 split necessarily. I would even venture to say that some lines are put out there because they will generate uneven action and that books will be happy to take a stand on certain games in order to make a killing so to speak.

great writing smartbets. but i have to agree with one of the above posters. you talk so mysteriously of this consensus bet which got my excited as i agree with you 100% with a gleam of hope you explaining it better. but then you end it just like how i ended my research....which is i tell myself you know what it doesn't fucking matter, but to be honest i try to tell myself that because i studied thespread.com pie charts and shit just doesn't make sense. when you think it makes sense and you bet 1 way and you lose..you think fuck these consensus reports. i think the honest conclusion is ....half and half...THERE ARE SUCH THINGS but problem is we don't have the real data.
i like the 49ers tonight even if i read on covers.com 3 sharps bet a total of 60k on steelers, lang on steelers, my friends liek steelers, sometimes you just gotta go with your true gut and fuck everyone else and hope you go 56%..
sorry for the run on ramblings..at work no time to edit

completely agree... Pitt is a public darling, always! and i find it hard to believe that Pitt has had this game circled for as long as SF has... if anything, this is the 49ers highest profile game of the entire year, whereas Pitt seems to have a high profile game every other week... this is about the 5th or 6th most important game on the schedule for them...
SF at home, with a rocking crowd, in a benchmark type of game... they should be more motivated and more focused...
seems like every time people fall in love with Pitt and slobber all over Big Ben, they go down in flames...

Vegas....how can you be sure that the books will make a killing because the public is on Pit? If what you are saying is true, there is no way that you would know where the money is as the books are keeping that information private?

I work for John Charles at CGS, they have 12 shops in Central America, that is where my info is from like I said in my write ups before. It's real info unlike anything else on the web.

"Stop worrying about these consensus numbers. Stop worrying about what is the “square” and “sharp” side. Stop worrying about where the money is moving. Start putting your time into researching the parts of the game at hand and researching the line and where you get the best odds for your money. Don’t let this information influence you the wrong way. Base your plays on the concrete information."
Good Logic and spot on!
Lot's of people gamble this way, trends which is rear view mirror gaming, go against the squares/public, and blindly just go for the dog.
