You do realize the long snapper was injured ?? Greatly impacted the timing and hold for extra points and Field Goals..
If the Bengals were in on the fix why would Chase catch the game tying TD ?

Got any facts that this was a popular teaser ?? Sounds like that's the one you lost on Brother ...
Steelers would be much more popular play IMO catching +13/+14 + in teasers imo ..

Running it twice kills 80 seconds and then you kick the field goal with 18 seconds left....
So the Steelers would still get to touch the ball with just under 18 seconds left correct ? If the Bengals miss the field goal the Steelers would get it not far out of field goal range.....
Just making sure bud.....Fell free to correct me on anything if i'm wrong.....

Snap 2nd down at 1:38. Typical running play is around 6 seconds, and then the 40 second clock would start.
It was 2nd and 4, so they could have gotten a first down - which allows them to do whatever they want with the clock.
But assuming they dont, they would have had to snap third down with about 52 seconds. Same scenario - they might get the first - but if they dont and if timed correctly the snap for the FG would have happened at around 7 seconds. The FG would take about 5 seconds, so the Steelers would have the ball at around the -40 at around 2 seconds on the clock - if that.
So really - for all intents and purposes - the Bengals could not have possibly lost the game.

The amazing thing about the punt - besides punting with 15 on the clock....
THEY SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A DELAY OF GAME PENALTY, AND THEN PUNTED>
When asked about it - the HC of the Bengals said he "wanted to make sure it got off without incident".
The best way to do that is to let the play clock go to 0, take the 5 yard penalty (it was no material difference because the ball was right on the 50), and then punt from the -45.
They totally blew it - no matter how you slice it.

Let's not forget the missed extra point at the end of regulation. The backup TE Sample decided to try to block the guy at the end, who never gets there in time anyway, instead of the guy right in front of him who had straight line to the kick. He should be released immediately.

It was an identical play to the blocked EP in the LSU / FSU game a week ago. Literally - the same exact thing.

Just listened to former BILLS OL Eric Wood on the radio talk about how difficult it is to he a long snapper...Said he was the backup and would pray each game day morning that he never had to do it.....Said the time and accuracy is nearly impossible with the holder unless you practice it everyday ...Apparently teammates would line up to laugh at his failures when they practiced it ..
