how could you watch that sorry ass football team make stupid play after stupid play, missed tackle after missed tackle... HORRENDOUS defensive play call after horrendous defensive play call... just getting bitch-slapped in every single aspect of football... and ONLY having a chance of covering because one of the best kickers in the NFL inexplicably misses two easy FGs...

and you think this was a great play, that you would bet again and again...

is it any wonder the books make money hand over fist?


one of the most important rules in gambling:  if you are going to lose money on a bet... at least learn something that will translate into correct decisions in the future...

you are clearly breaking that rule... Dallas had no business having a chance to cover, let alone win... they showed why they are the most poorly coached team in football, and the most undisciplined team in football...

this team is going nowhere in a huge hurry... you bet on this team going forward, you're a fool!

You're a retard you don't think all things fair (PI call on roddy white) wouldn't have changed the game?

I don't expect missed points (punt return, redone fails) to happen more times than not for this team.

FYI, it doesn't matter, but I am up for the season and will continue through strict BR management. So YES I'd make that play time and time again it was the RIGHT play. ATL backers got lucky tonight, but won't happen often.

I definitely thought Atlanta was the better team but it was a situational play, Dallas needed to win and ATL has to lay an egg at least once this year. It almost happened. So it goes......I am not on Dallas often but agreed with the original poster in my analysis as well and would make the same play next time. Congrats to all who made the right call tonight!

I AGREE , JASON GARRET is awful with decision makings and play calling on offense but i believe dallas has enough talent offensively

Okay guys let's face it ATLANTA is a pretty good football team. Hey - I didn't say 'great' I said pretty good. Now let's look for an opportunity to fade this undefeated jugernaut. Here is a statistic that you might want to roll around in the back of your head. Since 2000 from week 9 onwards undefeated teams laying more than 3 points were ATS 15-24 but now they are ATS 16-24 - still a money maker! And for the Cowboys, I sense a lot of frustration out there, they were 8-0 as dogs of more than 3 points. Well, now they are ATS 8-1 in that spot. Like you guys I took it on the chin tonight but there will be spots to fade the FALCONS.

dallas will always be in trouble as long as garret is their coach, just awful in my opinion, how do you only rush 18 times against one of the worst run defense in the league(atl. allowing 155 yards/game in their own house).  ATL game mvp--- jason garret!!

I won't dipute that Garret is a terrible coach but please remember who hired him as an OC, even before they hired Philips as their last HC. Unless Jones can't rescue himself from daily decisions, Cowboys WILL NEVER be a real contender again.

Much different. Giants would have gotten just as much action at -4 (-110) but books made it -3.5 at +money instead (posted why on post #171) . If the Saints were -4 here tons of Saints bettors would switch to the Eagles getting 4 points. Books are forced to lower the number here and juice it. As for quarter ML, big money isn't placed on those types of bets so its a non-factor

completely agree about al davis... i mean jerry jones! unfortunately no one can fire jerry, and no real coach will want the job because they know how jerry is(unless jerry pays them an ungodly salary!) cant help but remember when jerry said the window of opportunity is closing on this team, yet he doesnt realize he shut that window himself back in the 90's!

Dallas coaching are very poor, turnovers, time managements not good, special team and kicking game they are very bad.

Since Jason Garret take over this team, I don't see the Cowboys can go no where, he's just kiss Jerry Jone's ass and have done nothings but make the organization shaking. Playing now at home they're getting boo..... by their fans. Tony Romo also agreed if he is a fan, he would boo the team too.

All that mention above, how could the Cowboys motivate to a upper level to defeat the best team in NFL at their home court?

I live about 2 miles from Cowboys stadium, every broken news from the Cowboys I read them all.

I wrote this few days before the game, but you thought I've been trying down grade your capping. I tried to save your $$$ only, nothing else beside. I know the Cowboys very well and Cowboys stadium only 2 miles from where I live. If other team I can't input because I don't know.

Appreciated your thoughts mate and I didn't think you were talking down on my pick, you had some accurate points but I still thought DAL was the play and stuck with them. GL this weekend

Lol, I lost my weekly pool (only 2 wrong were Giants and Boys) and 100 to a friend who gave me Cowboys +200.

With that being said I'd do it over. Dallas was the better team in the first half and about 3 missed tackles on defense from winning that game. If they stop the Falcons on any of their 3rd downs in the final drive, I think they win. ESPECIALLY after having Atlanta 1st and 20 after the offensive pass interference.

Another play that I completely forgot about that is easily as bad if not worse, remember Ware's forced fumble and the Cowboys lineman jumping right next to it only to see the Falcons recover?   I can go on and on about the boneheaded plays the Boys made this weekend, boy was that a frustrating game to watch.
