Teams with a losing streak going into the BYE week usually get a win FIRST game back. Niners had a 3 game losing streak then beat the Jags. Even the lowly Panthers had a 6 game losing streak then beat the Texans. Patriots all day.

My mushroom herbalist advisor once told me, "If you bet on the NY Giants offense, you're going to have a bad time."

I wanted to post my thoughts before I went for my weekly Sunday grocery shopping, but I couldn't due to noon approaching. What's the significance of noon time you may ask? Well noon on a Sunday = heavy traffic on the streets due to ppl waking up, returning from church to ALSO do their shopping. Regardless, it's 5 minutes into the first half and as expected, it's a score of 0-0.

This is just my 2 cents and a "hunch" but this line "opened" up at -3.5/-4.5 Pats on the 19th of November. To me, that's a pretty uncomfortable number to lay with a very, VERY abysmal team. Would the average bettor want to lay 3.5 or more with an abysmal team? 2.5 yes but that 0.5 hook? Nah. It seems like the more "obvious" bet would be to take the points and hope for spread win by taking the initial opening 3.5/4.5. Then again, this is just my hunch. My final score prediction? The Pats cover that 3.5/4.5 with a 2 fg  or td victory..
