Plain and simple, bettors post these large dollar amounts for one reason. ATTENTION Who cares what a guy bets. If a guy wants to be an idiot, it's his money, get outta the way and let him proceed. I suspect that big money players could give a danm about Covers much less divulging their true wager amounts.

I smelled disaster coming here. you went apeshit crazy tonight but most of the time you are solid, and not a wannabe sharp like most people who were on the Jets.

That's the price of a car.  Professional players don't post their picks, it's considered bad luck. You lost more tonight than some people make in one year, for that, you should be ashamed.  I don't care how much you make a year, out of decency to Americans who are struggling in this economy, you should practice moderation and money management.  16K on one game? Are you making 1.5 million a year? That's what it takes to play those kinds of numbers.

Well said, and can't agree more. Unless you are making that kind of money, no one should wager like 16K on a game (unless he has reliable iinside information on a fixed game, but certainly not this one on national TV with all the hype). I sincerely hope the author did NOT really wager that kind of money on this game, or maybe he changed his mind and bought back some of the Jets money after reading what everyone has said on this thread. Hope to still see him around and did not really lose that kind of money on this kind of game, which was totally unnecessary. sigh~~

hey bro im sorry about the loss. i hate seeing people lose. i as u see have only had one other post on this site. usually dont post my opinion just read everyone else's. u have been solid tho for the most part, wasnt with u tonight but always read your posts and u are better then most of these people, chung isnt bad there are some others. anyway many weeks to come u get it back. bout to start my own thread. take a peak, im pretty good in the nfl. i live in vegas and work for a sports handicapping company in town. cant say which one for obvious reasons but learned ALOT  about betting sports since i been with them

this might be the dumbest post i've read in a while. who cares if professionals don't post their picks? who cares if he lost more than most people make in 1 year? even if it isn't a smart play he can do whatever he wants with his money reguardless of the economy or whatever other bullshit your writing. sounds like your just hating for the sake of hating and kicking a guy when hes down.

Like i said i like the Pats and the over 44.... you can check my post on page 6.  


This is the one thing Ive learned in my gambling days.... YOU do not wager that kind of money on a game where lets say that the the score was 24-17 patriots you wouldnt be at all surprised hearing that score.... I mean today they totally covered but again a 24 -17 score was totally possible.   Even flipped the other way.  If you wanna roll the dice like this you take a SHIT TEAM like the panthers against a team that plays tough at home getting a good line like the packers vs 49ers or seahawks over the panthers........ I mean seriously todays game could ended up the same way with the jets winning but it was A LOT LESS LIKELY.... ESPECIALLY with all the side factors...better luck on your other bets!!

   One major consideration you and your friend possibly ignored was the loss of the Jets' defensive captain for this game. This alone should have been enough to dispell anyone from choosing them as a huge sides play. Common sense dictated to lay off here with all the factors.
