i actually think he is a bookie and posted this to sway people, my opinion only! I almost bought in with that wager. Glad and I say again glad I didnt.
The posting to sway people makes a lot of sense. You can go through this and other topics and see where a sportsbook promoting poster says he is going to put a large amount on the other side of a lock bet. The only thing that throws me is his number of posts. Usually the poster has single digit posts not thousands.

One major consideration you and your friend possibly ignored was the loss of the Jets' defensive captain for this game. This alone should have been enough to dispell anyone from choosing them as a huge sides play. Common sense dictated to lay off here with all the factors.
Good point man. That was a massive loss for the Jets and most people did not even talk about it. That is why I added the four units in teasers to my existing bets. Obviously the Pats would have covered even with him in the game the way this went but he was a huge red flag.

I really hope you arent betting the Pats tonight Primetime. These teams are very even;y matched and there should not be a PLAY OF THE YEAR on either side. I like the Pats tonight but will not play it because I already hit last night on the Steelers. Here is why I like the Pats:
Patriots have the better QB, Coach, and homefield adv
Belichick 5-0 ATS in NE in same season divisional revenge games
Home teams that have won three consecutive games are 26-13 against the spread since 2002 as underdogs or favorites of 1-7 points. This applies to the Patriots, who are 2-0 ATS in this dynamic.
Pats have won 12 of last 15 meetings
Patriots are 18-10 ATS in December home games since 2000.
Patriots are 30-19 ATS vs. AFC East opponents since 2001
Tom Brady is 117-38 as a starter (91-61 ATS).
Jets one win this year vs a team above .500 (New England in Week 2). This game was totally meaningless now because the Pats are a completely different team. They have added Woodhead, Branch, and Mankins and they dropped Moss. Their defense is also a lot better with Cunningham, Chung, and Mccourty really getting a lot better in the last past 10 games.
I expect another NE win just like last year in this same spot. Sanchez and the Jets have been getting lucky wins all year and the luck runs out tonight.
Perfect post

If you really bet this amount, you should be ashamed of yourself. I know you are not a millionaire, but come on man, 16 grand on one game? That's the price of a car. Professional players don't post their picks, it's considered bad luck. You lost more tonight than some people make in one year, for that, you should be ashamed. I don't care how much you make a year, out of decency to Americans who are struggling in this economy, you should practice moderation and money management. 16K on one game? Are you making 1.5 million a year? That's what it takes to play those kinds of numbers.
This is really show this generation is all about "result". Has he won the bet, lots of guys like you would have run in here saying "nice call this", "nice call that" and begging for more picks.
This is a betting site not some kind of "shrink" or "gambling rehab forum" so what is up with all your garbage. Only losers are kicking others when they are down. Only losers have the pleasure to see others are in deeper shit than them so they would feel better about their situations.
I read your post again and again, it really upset me because it is total garbage. You are nothing to him or anyone on here so do not tell people about how to manage their money in this economy or bull shit like "ashamed" especially when they are down. You are the one should be ashamed of yourself because you are the type who are kicking people when they are needing helps and condolences the most.
Imagine a situation when you need help, you come to your friend and ask for some help (such as borrow money). Instead of letting you borrow the money, your friend would tell you " you should have manage your money better especially in this economy because of that I am not letting you borrow any and you should be ashamed of yourself. I bet you would take his words wholeheartedly.
The first and greatest victory is to conquer self

hang in there pal. big lose but you are a skilled capper and you will bounce back.
WTF, something real wrong here. This guy has almost 25,000 posts and knows nothing about handicapping. Just one of many things you look at when capping a game would be: how many times do division foes sweep the other in the season? Hardly ever.

Hit both of the HUGE teasers but lost a big parlay & looking at 1-2 on HUGE side plays which so far has me down about $500 for Sundays plays. Called my friend in Florida & he is wagering big on this game & it agrees with what I like, the Jets. I am unloading on this game because I have no money management skills & dont care to start them now. Altho I always preach money management for others, I never follow my own rules. big time loser
Jets +3.5 $16,500 to win $15,000
This is the money I won off the Jaguars over the Texans a couple of weeks ago & doubled it up on the Falcons two weeks ago vs the Rams. My biggest Monday night wager was couple years ago when I had the Ravens +19 for the game, 1st half & 2nd half vs the Patriots which were all posted on this site. This wager tonight is a little less. The Jaguars was a big bet several weeks ago & so was the Falcons so im pretty much letting some heavy money ride tonight. If I lose this bet, I will not post another HUGE play the rest of this season.

Speaking from experience..... you live by the sword and you die by the sword. No doubt, it was reckless and aggressive play that got PrimeTime in position to make such a big wager. I imagine there were several 2500 bets, maybe 5000 bet that got him to the level where he would let it all hang on one big play.
Prime Time cant worry about losing this much cause this is what he did. We need to all realize that the money we bet with isnt ours unless we stop gambling and walk away. If I am up 5000 bucks one week, I might lose 7000 the next. My goal is to always be up.
As to those who doubt whether PrimeTIme made such a big play,, it doesnt matter whether he did or didnt.
