Worse than Shanahan getting the ball on the 5 yard line and running 3 times so they can kick a feild goal when he could have gone up 2 scores with a minute left ??

@Biscuiteater1
Thx Bisc!..nahh nothing to blame outside the game.. not gonna go there … just getting beat by a series of incredible circumstances… blowing a 4 th qrt 17 pt lead first of all..then Cooks incre 80 yd run…then a 4th and 18 Tyreesque catch by Jefferson… then followed by the horrific Bill turnovers… reminds me of one of my other brutal beats which again involved Buffalo aganist the Oilers way back…

They maybe should of thought about taking a safety down on the goal line but then a fg would of beat them. Tough spot to be in. Maybe try to throw your out of there. Vikings were definitely stacked up.

I am a Vikings fan and this was a brutal beat. It is almost impossible to have these many things go wrong and lose. Literally the Vikings and their backers had to have the most golden of horseshoes up their a$$ for this to be possible. The most ridiculous of which was the fumble in the endzone. If he snaps the ball a million times that might happen 1-3 times. It is that rare. All Allen had to do was hold onto the ball. But couple that with dumb going for it several times on 4th down instead of taking the sure points, turnovers, poor defense, yada yada, it was pretty tough pill for any Bill backer to swallow I can 100% understand that. Make matters worst as a Vikings fan I am now on red alert of when this "luck" runs out as they will choke. They aren't beating teams like 1998 they are having a lucky play her or a fumble there or a missed FG or a host of fortunate events that allow them to keep winning.

Who's Josh Darnold?

When you are losing a bet from start to finish, that is not a bad beat, had they scored a td it would have been a bad beat for chargers bettors and a backdoor cover for 49ers

He had BUF ML and Buffalo lead by middle of 1Q on. So Vikes were lucky to cover the spread. Insanity lucky to win.

Thousands of $$$ from Buffalo teaser bets went down on that goal line fumble-rouskie. 1st thought. Fix is in, sorry that's what I'm hearing and you had to be thinking it as well if you follow me.

I had a massive teaser, only loss was vikings game UNDER 51.5...had it in the bag. All those miracles to keep it under JUST to LOSE like thaT? I am also still hurt by this one. This one was especially painful as I thought I had won. I had one more play after that one which was hedgable and not only won but would have middled. (SF was my last teaser pick) so i knew I was good then I....lost. Wow, NFL. Not saying it was part of any script as I've NEVER seen that happen like that in that spot but look what it did....it DID lead the vikes to a victory so Maybe someone put in a large in game bet?! have no clue. it's just a bummer way to lose. Lots of people probably had heart attacks because of that game. No joke. Buy because I've never seen it happen I think it was a true fluke. So less than what, 30 seconds in the game and its basically over and we see 20 more pts being scored....has this ever happened?

(The 20 pts being 10 in regulation and 10 in OT or maybe it was 9, but either way the score was like 10 pts higher for each team than it should have been

Josh Newton.....He won't last playing like this....He takes big hits or takes on linebackers every game running the ball...

Here is a bad beat. Hawaii Vs BYU back in the early 80's. Long before June Jones. Anyway, Byu is favored by like 18pts or so. Hawaii gets the ball back with 3 minutes left down by 23 or 24. They drive the length of the field and and score in a minute, so there are 2 minutes left, so I am covering the 18. They do an onside kick and BYU starts the drive around midfield with a minute 48 seconds or so on the clock. BYU rips off 2 20 yard runs in a row, even though they could have run the clock out. Mind you Hawaii does not try and stop the clock with timeouts so they were giving up. So BYU is 1st and 10 at the Hawaii 12 yard line with 45 seconds or so left. I don't recall who the QB was ...maybe Steve Young still? Robbie Bosco?, but they take knee....and the FUCKING Hawaii coach calls a time out. They show Lavell Edwards on the sideline and he is pissed that he was going to run out the click and the moron Hawaii coach calls time. He is cursing to himself....you can lip read him as the camera was up close. In comes the starting offensive line and running back.....BYU runs "student body right" and the RB walks in. That my friends is a bad beat.

Yikes really. I can think of a half dozen or more worst than that this year. Sounds like Hawaii wasn't covering any way but a backdoor. Dude even the Houston/SMU game earlier this year where Houston had to have literally 8 ridiculous things go there way in the final couple minutes to put a bad beat on the SMU ML backers. I still feel that one. ESPN had SMU as a 99.9% favorite. So less than 0.1% chance and they did it. That is just this year. I can think of dozens worst than that over the years.

@Verdict
Why go thru all of that. Why not just let the Vikings score from the one yard line. Maybe some of the guys were not told about the plot. Only the Big Stud knew about it.
