Brett Favre vs Chicago Interesting Info and trend.... I think this should be read

So I was thinking of tonights MNF game and was really uncertain about who to choose tonight. So I decided to look up how Brett has performed against Chicago on Monday Nights.

Monday Night 10/31/94 GB@Chicago  Won by 27

Monday Night 9/11/95 GB@Chicago  Won by 3   Line GB+3 W

Monday Night 9/1/97 Chicago@GB Won by 14 Line GB -16.5 L

Monday Night 10/7/02 GB@Chicago  Won by 13 Line GB +1 W

Monday Night 9/29/03 GB@Chicago  Won by 15 Line GB -4 W

****Also a Sunday Night Game 12/3/00 GB@Chicago Won by 22 Line was GB -2.5 W***

So as you can see Brett has faced the Bears 5 times in his career on Monday and has won 4 of these games by double digits. And had another night game against them Sunday Night on 12/3/00 in which they won by double digits. So Brett is 5-0 Straight Up against the Bears on Monday Night in his career and 4-1 ATS on Monday Night against the Bears. Also if you use the Sunday Night game in 2000 Brett is 6-0 SU against the Bears in Primetime Games on a Sunday or Monday Night against the Bears and 5-1 ATS. Just thought I would share this info not sure if it holds any weight with tonights game but I thought it was interesting. BOL on your pick

Dominic-  With this info, you'll probably enjoy seeing this.  FYI, the temperature around kickoff here in Chicago should be less than 20 degrees:

I'm not one for trends, but I saw this the other day at ESPN.  In short, one of the trends we've posted won't hold true tonight since they are contradictory.  GL on your play

Interesting read except those games were played between 6 and 15 years ago and Brett Favre is older and not the same qb he was before. 

My local had the Bears at +9 so I jumped on it but it's back down to 8 now.  I wouldn't be suprised if Minny won, but I don't see them blowing out Chicago tonight.  I think this one comes down to the last possesion wins.  Just my opinion.

i dont get what the packers of the early years have to do with the vikings this year...is the spirit of antonio freeman going to take over bernard berrian's body or something...

Road I just thought this was some interesting info on how Brett has performed over the years in primetime games against the Bears..... Just thought I would share and no Antonio Freeman is not playing tonight BOL to you buddy

Different coaches.  Different players.  If they win again, it will have nothing to do any of those previous games.

jk, all those years with the Packers, their run game was never as good as having Peterson in a cold game.

If I had to bet, and I'm not going to, I'd take the Vikes............

(as almost all of us did in high school)...curly out-of-control fro...a 'open-wide at the dentist' smile that rivals Jack Nicholson's Joker smile in Batman......seeing what he turned into, it gives hope to all high-school nerds...don't ever give up faith people...you WILL have a girlfriend one day!!!

Scalabrine Marino was my favorite player growing up must of  been because of how cool he made Isotoners look. This is his pic when he played for the University of Pitt... Those curls must of drove the girls wild. I'm still trying to think about whether this trend should be considered for tonights game.... Any thoughts?

I'm leaning UNDER. In all of those games below 38 degrees, Favre was throwing over 25 attempts. After Chilly tried to pull him last week, I see him having a short leash with Favre. Lots of Peterson and ground game. Windy night will play into the pass attempts as well.

Any thoughts on the Under?

Honestly I think Minny the play.  Problem is Childress in my opinion.  He already thinking of playoffs and resting players.  Could turn out to be a Colt/Jets type of game. So he could care less if they win or not.

Mostly early in the year!!! He normally does bad in Chi late in the season when it's cold!!! GL!!!

Speaking of trends, didn't Fraver have a losing record inside domes? I think he's kicked that one in the teeth, hasn't he?

One thing for sure. When "he" lost those games in the cold, "his" defense sure didn't play very well in about 1/2 those games.....and when you get behind early in cold weather, it sure makes it difficult to pass your way back into the game.

And this is coming from someone that HATES him......

I did notice that all those Monday Night games were in Sept and Oct.  I knid of think Dominic's stats are more relevant.
I'm going with da Bears, and I'll have to live with it.
