If that game is played on a sunny day you’re singing a different tune. It was a tough game for Purdy. Despite the numbers he didn’t play well. The weather was a huge factor. Also look at the overall circumstances of the game. Besides the weather, Green Bay had one penalty for 5 yards. Green Bay fumbled twice and recovered. 49ers kept finding themselves in bad situations and the coach kept asking Brock to throw instead of more handoff’s to CMC. The 9ers could have won convincingly on a different day. Just didn’t go that way. Fade Purdy at your own risk.

Trent dilfer was not a factor in the Ravens Super Bowl win. He handed the ball off and relied on his defense. Brock Purdy did nothing to help win that game yesterday, he handed the ball off to CMC, moron

Yes,he had a bad game for sure. He’s a high level product of a really great team. When Purdy gets rollin though he’s solid af in my book

He threw for 252 or something, in a playoff game, in the driving rain, "small" hands and all. CMC had a couple clutch plays but not a monster day. Purdy didn't play great but he was missing Deebo and facing an underrated Packer defense that was peaking at the right time. He clearly struggled with the rain but he did enough to help his team win and didn't simply hand it off to CMC. CMac had 17 carries. He did have two TD runs but not a monster day. Brock struggled but made plays when he needed. Maybe you can say he was saved by Dre Greenlaw more than anybody but it's a team sport.

Also Purdy is short as an NFL QB, and has smallish hands for an NFL QB, but not for a person. A lot of you guys get caught up with what you read in on the Internet and run with it. Purdy is in his second NFC Championship in two years. He has only played for two years. Let that sink in. This is a well put together team but they aren't simply carrying him. He is still the lynch pin. The engine that makes it go.
