Sure smells like it
Good luck, Niner!
Jim Harbaugh was quoted by only preparing for Saints in Divisional round, what if Lions steal one from Super Dome on Saturday? C'mon man, you got to prepare for other option as a coach.

Gotta remember, they already prepared for the Lions once this year, so its not like they are not familiar with them.

Yeah, SF did beat Detroit ealier this season. But it will do no harm by looking for a few new tapes and playbooks of the Lions.

On the flip side, do you realize what an advantage of having 2 full weeks to prepare for a team is? Not saying its the right move, but if true, Harbaugh feels strongly about two things: 1) New Orleans is going to win this game and 2) If not, he has seen enough of Detroit to feel confident in beating him again.

I don't trust Atlanta in this spot. Do you know the Falcons record SU and ATS against winning teams this season? I also know its cliche', but a dome tream traveling to the northeast in January? I'll take the better QB and the better pass rush. I honestly can see the road team winning any game this weekend, except for the Falcons.

guess i have the stat here, home fav SU in Divisional rounds since 1990 are 101-43.

And I wouldn't doubt if SF was a dog, not a fave in that game if they do end up facing NO. My guess is either PK or NO -1

Should be some advantages here for the Niners, i agreed. Saw someone posted that Saints might be -3/-3.5 at Niners if they should beat Lions this weekend. Home dogs are 3-2 ats in this round, since '90.

Not counting the Lions out, I think the game will be competitive and I actually like Detroit to cover. However; two things: 1) This isn't the same inconsistent NO team as last season. They are much, much better. Yes they were defending champs last season, but let's be honest, they never looked like Super Bowl contenders all season long. 2) The Seattle game was played on the road in a tough, tough place to play. Now NO is at home where they have been nothing short of dominant. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying the Detroit can't win this game, but I will say they don't have the defense for my liking to pull of the big upset.

True on seattle. Detroit looked pretty good for a while there vrs New Orleans. I remember that game, had a ton on New Orleans and I was sweating it early on.
