Brutal conditions for Sat Jet/Bengal game

Mostly cloudy, brisk and bitterly cold with a couple of snow showers
 
This easily favors the Jets again.. The weakest team entering the playoffs is Cincy.. With the NFLs top ranked Defense & Rushing attack with a shut down corner in Revis, The Jets will upset the Bengals and move on to get blasted by the Colts or Bolts..

I actually think a cold weather day benefits the Bengals.  Rookie QB on the road, cold weather, I don't see it.

its doesnt favor anyone, if im not mistaken palmer and sanchez both played at usc. Cincy and new york are both cold weather teams

Who has played in the cold the longest, Sanchez admitted he dislike playing in this type of weather.

It is going to be cold as shit.  The coldest game in history as a matter of a fact was played in Cincinnati.  1982 AFC Championship...Bengals vs. Chargers.  Frigid conditions with windchills around -60 below.  Outcome

27-7 Bengals.

Bengals DE Eddie Edwards actually suffered a frost bitten ear during the game.  Kinda crazy.  Its not going to be that cold.  That being said I don't think weather is going to be that big of a factor in this game.  Honestly.

What exactly did the rookie QB need to do in the Jets' Week 17 domination of the Bengals? Do you see him having to throw more than 15 times in this one? Because, I don't.

Jets won't throw the ball much in this game IMO and I think this will be a low scoring game

I think we all forgot that Cincy has a RB that didn't play last week.  Also Cincy was playing soft and dropping passes for fun.

I agree with you, i think myself cincy was just toying with the jets and they should be givin about 6, i will take cincy - 2.5 anyday...lets get this dough

-59 degrees for that game. I know someone who was there and said words can't describe what it felt like. The Chargers never stood a chance. I always say that had to be the easiest money in the history of gambling, right? I was a little young to be gambling back then but Air Coryell in -59 degree weather?

I was still a twinkle in my Old mans scrotum.  Was alive for the Bengals second Super Bowl game.  Hell I believe if I'm thinking right that San Diego had to play in Miami the week before that.  That would be brutal.  Go from probably what 60's or higher to -60 The windchills were -59 which is crazy.

Please don't let the Week 17 game be your basis for backing Sanchez in this game.  The Bengals rested several players, had nothing to play for and were on the road.  Their guys are back (Benson, Peko, Crocker, Geathers) and now they are playing a rare home playoff game.  Trust me they aren't just going to lay down for a team who quite frankly are lucky to be in the playoffs.  If the Jets fall behind in this game are u really going to want to rely on Sanchez to bring u back?  Cincy is the play here....

That's the other part about that being the best bet ever. You are right the week before San Diego and Miami played that OT classic. Jesus -59 degrees. How is it even possible that humans can be in that weather much less play football?

Of course the only weather related injury was a Bengals player.  The first of the two superbowls followed for the Bengals and they should have won both of them

I played in a game that was -5 degrees with a slight breeze it was freezing.  Plus it was out in the middle of nowhere.

They shouldve won the 2nd one...the 1st one was 20-0 at half and only close because Dan Ross scored a garbage TD with under a minute left
