He is making some mistakes but I have been impressed. He throws a great ball. I was skeptical but he looks great so far and I think he is going to be a top QB

Cam and Carolina could easily be 2-0... Cam and the crew were about 1yd and 2 yds short today from easily being 2-0 .. I say Cam has exceeded expectations and it will only get better. When you get praise from the Super Bowl Champs saying they're glad we got him Week 2 before he figures it all out, then you've done your job....

I always liked him at Auburn and was uncertain how he would do in the NFL but thought he was the clear cut pick for Carolina but even I didn't think he would play this well this early.  There is always so many growing pains that are associated with going from college football to the NFL that in the QB spot is is almost certain to have substantial adversity.  In this case he has gone against the sold GB defense at Lambeau and had a shot to win.  Good work Cam and keep it up!

Okay I am sorry I am an idiot... CAR was at home yesterday.  It would have been more impressive if on the road but all the same good game.  432 yards passing (albeit 3 picks) still pretty decent.  BOL!

I see that Newton throws perfect spirals most of the time.
If he establish himself as a pocket passer, then he will progress as a great QB.

Carolina Draft pick was 

Cam playing better than Freeman and Ryan

Panthers in every game this year

Product on the field far better than that mess last year

Panthers are about 2 free agents and a high draft pick away for being special
