Can Broncos Win AFC and Super Bowl with Brock Osweiler?

Brock Osweiler plays well to win Denver three straight, including two road games, @ Chicago and @ San Diego. Denver has the best defense in the NFL up to this point, Broncos can go deep in the postseason with this defense unit. CJ Anderson and Ronnie Hillman are two solid RBs capable of carrying the load for Denver.

Osweiler has 4-2 TD-INT ratio after he takes over the Denver QB position with QB rating of 92.1/game, he may not be the starting QB if Peyton Manning gets back to the lineup. But Manning surely expresses himself with a dismal season, dude is sitting at almost league low of 67 passer rating with only 9 TDs and whopping 17 INTs! I will have my hands full if I were Gary Kubiak if Manning has fully recovered from the foot injury. 

P. Manning may have past his prime, John Elway and Broncos will have a tough time to decide what to do with their QB position as postseason closing in.

Yeah, but Bears lose it with Grossman in that SB to the Colts. Big Ben did win his 1st SB in his second year with Pittsburgh.

Looks like that way, Ddouble. There is a high possibility that Denver finishes with #1 seed in the AFC. Cardinals might be the team that goes to Big Dance from NFC.

They just release Ponder today so guessing Manning will start Wk 15.

i saw that news too this morning, Manning may do more harm than good to the Broncos if he starts. If Kubiak wants Manning playing, he better starts Manning as soon as possible and sees what's Manning made of, there are only 3 weeks left to test what Manning has left in his tank.

I see Broncos are currently +700 to win SB

I suppose it could happen, but if I was going for a dark horse, I'd rather take Bengals +750 or Seahawks +900.   I think the league will catch up to Osweiler in the next few games, and Peyton doesn't have enuff left in the tank to guide Broncs to glorious SB victory

Agree that Brock is better option at this point.  Best case is Manning is go Off or stinks the joint and Kubiak bench him.  Not so good if he struggles a bit and they win close games, hard to justify benching him.  I see them playing playoff games in Den, Cinci, or NE, don't see that panning out well with Manning even if it's Den as likely cold weather.

All 3 of those teams aren't that good considering the Pats didn't have like two of their best receivers.  

There are too many balanced teams at this point that you can't just be good on one side of the ball.

I don't see any shot they will win the SB, Europa!

1) I just don't see a good QB in him and they don't have a good OL.

2) They needed just 17 and 10 offensive points to beat the Bears and Chargers who don't really have a good pass rush.

3) Pats were up 21-7 AT Denver without Edelman and Amendola.

Against a real playoff team combined with a good defense or for instance healthy NE I don't see them competing.

   I somewhat agree with your points but when Denver played NE, it's not like Denver had a healthy team either especially on defense.  I think with PM's past history in the playoffs, they need to finish with Brock to have the best chances to go all the way.  

P.S. I am currently in Wiesbaden, what part of Germany do you live in?

I like their chances but not with (Manning) noodle arm. We shall see.

Little to no chance to win SB. If they are a bye team they may not even win a playoff game .

Even as a wild card round team they may not win a playoff game.

Broncos have the stout defense that can carry them deep in the playoffs , let's see if they do have a quality QB to execute in the offense in the postseason. Osweiler might not be experienced enough to win a couple of playoff games, but can Peyton Manning do it otherwise? I really doubt it, i'll stick with Osweiler if i were Kubiak. Week 15 (@ PIT) and 16 (vs CIN) are two tough tests to show who Osweiler is made of. 

Tim Tebow did win a playoff game for Denver with less stout defense.

Definitely, their D is the best in the league. I see them and the Bengals in the AFC title game with Pittsburgh as a dark horse.

Chances are Broncos will start Manning as soon as week 15 after they released Christian Ponder early Wednesday. So, Manning will get his share before playoffs, dude hasn't played well this season except on those TV commercials. "chicken parm you taste so good"

As good as Denver's defense is their overall team is not even close to other great defensive teams like 2000 Ravens, 2002 Bucs, 85 Bears , 2013 Seattle.

Denver's defense is 2cd in defensive passer rating , 2002 Bucs were 1st at 48.4, Denveis 75. Not in the same league.

Bucs ave per pass att was 4.5 and was so far ahead of the number 2 defense that the no.2 defense would have to go all the way down to something like 15th to find the same difference as between no.1 Bucs and no.2.

Denver not close to that level.

Ravens had the best ave per game defensive scoring and an historical run game, out-gaining opp by 76.78 yasds with and ave per rush of 4.3 to 2.7 a whopping unheard of 1.6 differential. Denver not in the same league.

And on and on one could go comparing Denver to other great, great defensive teams. Not even close to the same league as those other great defensive teams that dominated SB'S.

Denver will likely lose their opening playoff game.

2013 Seattle had a monster over +5 yards per point differential.  In other words their offense needed more then 5 yards less to score 1 pt then opps would need to score 1 pt VS their defense.

 That's greatness at work.

Denver is +1, that's below ave for your run of the mill playoff team and the worst of any division leader and any playoff team except maybe the .500 and below record teams.

There's nothing about Denver that equates to a SB team.

Big surprise!! Bengals have progressed vastly this season over last few years, Andy Dalton has his best year ever since he entered NFL, he is sitting at top in NFL QB rating. However, this team has never won a single playoff game under Dalton behind the center. Actually, Dalton is 0-4 in playoffs.

I think Dalton is getting matured, experienced and better this season, and here comes the real tests from hosting Steelers this week and on the road at Broncos in week 16. I like this team but let's see what Andy Dalton & Co are made of this season, Biscuit.

I think he can get it done  if he only has to win one game on the road and especially if he rides the home field and defense throughout
