imo, this is why you bet the Ravens in this game... as insurance... if you lose your Ravens bet, you get a gift from the Gods in the following game... playing a moderate sized bet on Balt this game, then doubling up on it the next game if Baltimore someone loses, makes sense... especially with a ML play or a bet at (-1.5) or less...

....in the playoffs anything goes, you know that...probably wont win, but when that line goes up even farther, i'm all over it...Arrowhead is a lion's den and the Chiefs will have something to prove

actually, what i know is that bogus teams get exposed in the playoffs... Arrowhead's HF will have to be worth more than a TD in this game...

The Chiefs are what they are, a cute little story.  They are a decent team in a bad division.  They didn't beat any solid teams, and they were blown out by teams who didn't make the playoffs.  They are heading in the right direction, but unfortunately that direction must end in the first round this year.  Home field will keep this game respectable.

I guess no one puts any stock on playoff experience? Baltimore has much of it and the Chiefs have been bad so long they'll need a course on how the playoffs work. 

The Ravens are battle tested for this part of the season. I'll take them.

This is an identical situation to Balt -3 at Miami a few years ago in the first round.  90% of the public on the Ravens and they rolled from start to finish.

Baltimore has not impressed me much of late as they seem to be struggling on offense. Balty could def win but I do not think this is a lock by any means.

I like the chiefs plus the points in this game, as I think they have a great chance to win outright.

Have a look a KC's schedule.it's awfully weak.Had trouble at home vs Buff. and Denver.Ravens are a much better team then either of them.

KC is simply better then Miami was that year. Maybe not record-wise but they had similar quality defenses, i believe KC has a better QB and a better run game. Plus I feel that the spots are slightly different. KC has a stronger homefield advantage (Miami's home field advantage is almost non-existent). Also, Balty's D is just not as good as they were a few years ago. I like KC here but thats just my opinion. bol Stuckey...

but it's their fault they didn't go 16-0 with that weak schedule...

and actually, it is their fault... the NFL schedule is made based on the previous year's performance... the teams that do the worst, are given what is called a "last-place schedule"... so the reason KC (and St Louis) were able to sniff the playoffs this year is because they were so bad last year... and while these aren't the same exact teams as the previous year's version, there is more similarity than difference in them...

KC sucked it up so bad last year that the NFL's scheduling formula gift-wrapped them a playoff birth...

the point in breaking down the schedule the way i did, was simply to show people the truth behind the team they are backing... i am not interested in convincing people not to bet on KC if they really want to... just providing a clear picture is all... do with it what you will...

I'll take my chances getting points with the home team that rushes for 165 a game and has a qb that is plus 20 in td/int ratio.

Chiefs +3   just wondering if I it will be 2.5 or 3.5 by kickoff?

     I never said they would beat the pats.no one will beat the pats .they have a great chance against the ravens and there weak offense at home! put money on the ravens like u prob.did when they played the bengals in wk.17?  LOSS...we'll see what happens? and if u lose will u be back on this thread?

i havent been talking bout this game the ravens are not that good just like the chiefs they should b able too keep it close with them but then again i will not b surprised if its a 21 point baltimore win these guys are frauds and do u think they can beat the steelers if they played them next game really oakland just beat you guys by 30 points the fckin raiders just beat u by 30 fckin points at home with you playing all your starters the fckin raiders lol this team is a fraud period in the nfl when your a good team you will never be a 10 point dog in any game and they still lost 6 games 3 were complete fckin blowouts by the droncos and raiders wow

KC had a very easy schedule this season.  They only beat one team with a winning record and that was SD week 1.  Note that SD destroyed them when they played again in week 14, 31-0.  KC's wins have come against SD, CLE, SF, JAX, BUF, ARI, SEA, DEN, STL, and TEN.
I like Baltimore's 5th ranked rush defense to matchup well vs KCs top running game.  Flacco and crew shouldn't have many issues gaining yardage against KCs 17th rated pass defense.  BAL are coming in the playoffs winning 4 straight, whereas KC lost badly to OAK 31-10 last week.
BAL were 5-2-1 against the spread on the road this season, and 4-0 on grass.    Ravens are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 road games.  Ravens are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Wildcard games.  Chiefs are 1-6 against the spread in their last 7 vs. AFC, and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 playoff games.  Road team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
