Chiefs might as well not show up?

Teams in NFL Wild Card round contests playing off a straight up season ending loss as a favorite tend to bounce back up off the carpet, going 30-15-1. (New Orleans, Kansas City)

Better yet, dress them up as dogs and they improve to 14-4. (Kansas City)

I'll take my chances with the unpopular chiefs, maybe we get +4 by the game...

Actually I'm pretty sure I get it bro.  I'm putting my money on the playoff tested team with a proven track record of road victories and a very good Defense against a young unproven squad who's never been there before.  On top of that the Ravens strength is stuffing the run and I expect them to put the game in Cassel's hands.  I'm pretty confident in my chances if thats the case.  I'm sure the majority of the Ravens backers will agree with this exact assessment. 

 No Pitts the sleeper since KNOW one said they would even make the playoffs noless win the AFC North which TY I hit and I have them for the whole AFC and SuperBowl

another THING here Folks NO TEAM in superbowl historywith a LOSING DIV record ever made it to THE Bowl !

yeah they may beat Ravens but i'll be eating my hat and lots of Crow !

KC lost 4 div games  split with chargers  and Broncos lost twice to raiders

even if they won vs Raiders that would have been 3-3 in div games

and not a winning div record or a losing div record still weak !

NFL needs to revert back to 3 divisons in each CONFERENCE

guarantees no team with losing records in playoffs !

 covers contest are great fade material

especially the survivor one like when it's only 1 game played in one sport if i seee way too many on 1 side i go opposite !

The Chiefs weak schedule cannot be overlooked but any team that doesn't turn the ball over that much and also has a dominating running game has a chance to win the football game.  I definitely agree that Baltimore has the better team but to say that the Chiefs shouldnt even show up is just plain stupid.  They have an elite running back and an elite WR just like Balt does.  This game is going to be closer than people think.

All the love on Balt side, going to go with a small play on KC.

kama... you gotta be joking!  all teams show up in the playoffs... this isn't Bowl Season... they showed up and got spanked by a far superior team...

refer back to my breakdown of the Chiefs schedule this year... they went 10-6 against one of the worst schedules we've ever seen, while Baltimore went 12-4 against the #10 schedule this year...

this was a mismatch from the word go, because Matt Cassell is a fraud as a QB... yea he can manage games against the Cards and Panthers of the league... but put him against a real defense and this is what you get, and what you will always get...

I think you may have understood my comment in jest, with a word play on the title.  I've been saying basically the same thing as you on this thread.  On the Ravens as well.

I laughed at all the sharps taking KC +3 based on strong running stats and homefield record accumulated vs a weak schedule.

Balt -3 was the only good play this whole weekend.
