The books gave us a true gift giving us brady at 3.4+ when the Pats were trailing by 4. And then they gave them to us again at 1.63 right after they had won the coinflip in Overtime.
Refs screwed my Saints pick but I was lucky to get 1/2 a unit with the Rams at 3.0 when they were losing by 3 and saved and recovered my Saints-3 loss. Ted Ginn went nuts. And unfortunately apendicitis took out Ben Watson who wouldve been Gronk 2.
What a weekend! This Championship Sunday will go down as maybe the best ever. 2 xxxxxx overtimes. We are blessed.
Finally, the NFL should consider having one flag to review a penalty or something similar. How can Drew Brees and Sean Payton sleep today and the whole offseason knowing they will miss the Main Dance because of one blind ref. Defender not looking at the ball, that hits the receiver when the ball is not even close to being at his reach, and who also hits him helmet to helmet. Pass interference, personal foul, whatever you want, except not calling it.
And lets take our hats out and vow to Mr. Bellichick. There were some calls on offense that I hated. But defensively... limiting Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce that way. If it weren´t for Gilmore having his worst night of the season (I got lucky, if I knew for sure Gilmore was taking Watkins I wouldve hammered the under receiving yards, but slight uncertainty made me hold that bet), and TB12 throwing 2 picks, this wouldve been a blowout.
Cheers to all (Goat and Achilles included). Don´t jump on the Pats bandwagon yet. The Rams are a much worse matchup for the Pats. Similar pass rush, better run defense (I was impressed by how they held Kamara and Ingram´s rushes today, and how they held Zeke the week before), way better rushing O with 2 weeks to properly recover the best running back in the business. It will be awesome to see how the GOAT sets up his defense for this task.
