Defense has to be gassed.
Run defense is getting smash-mouthed game after game. A D-Line decimated by injury is partly to blame.
This makes play-action deadly. When you bring a safety into the box to help support the run you are vulnerable over the top. It's been the game script (not the Hollywood one peddled on here) all year against them.

Daniels has a 90% completion rate. Point blank the defense is horrid.

No doubt. They better get healthy real fast with the running games they'll face in the AFC North while trying to dig out of a 0-3 hole. Tall task

They are toast. Winning 9 of their next 14 games sounds impossible at this point.
Crazy thing is they are a mess financially with Chase wanting a big deal and Tee Higgins franchised.

Being from Pittsburgh I get a sadistic enjoyment out of it, but I wouldn't count them out of a Wild Card yet. I've watched the Steelers back in multiple times with no offense. But even if the Bengals find a way to pull that off, they'll suffer the same fate the Steelers suffer every year, when they do get in, of getting bounced out immediately. Playoff teams, especially top seeds, can exploit the massive hole they currently have if they don't fix it.
If they sign both they'll keep paying the price in other places. I'd think one has to go but we'll see what they do. It's the price you pay for having a franchise-caliber quarterback eating up a huge chunk of cap space.

Bengals defense at home couldn't hold them to 1 punt all night. This team was supposed to be so great with Burrow getting paid 275 million. It will be funny when the lose to their old quarterback Andy Dalton next week
